During arguments before the Utah Supreme Court, on 12 Apr 2011, Supreme Court Justice Thomas Lee asked the following question:
"I have a hard time understanding why the federal court wouldn't want guidance on a state law question," Lee said. "The dispute that's been brewing between these two court systems has a state question embedded in it."
Excellent point! Judge Benson's ego seems to be clouding his objectivity.
This is a good decision upon the part of the 10th Circuit Court to grant an indefinite stay to allow time for all of this to get sorted out.
