14 Rs and 5 Ds. Let the gerrymandering commence!

Hey "Dude" there is not that many Democrats in the entire Legislature (24 out of 104). That's only 23% of the entire Legislature. With 5 Democrats on the Committee out of 19, that equates to 26%.

I call that evenly divided. With that said, now let the gerrymandering commence.

I think I'd prefer it if there was a non-elected commission in place for redistricting. Then they would be beholden to the appointing authority instead of the election of the citizens. Boy, THEN the gerrymandering could REALLY commence.

There's a reason the Democrats aren't evenly divided with Republicans in Utah. We just don't like the way the liberals want to bust the budget. California is the perfect example where the liberals there wanted to borrow money against future lottery revenue earnings to pay yesterday's bills.

Hey Rifleman, and am a part of WE! As I have posted before, I am a life-long fairly conservative Republican.

Boy did you really misread my political philosophy from the above post.
