Universities seem to have an entitlement attitude, like they deserve more money every year.
Every year they raise tuition and fees.
Someone should do a chart showing the actual inflation over the lats 30 years and the rate of college cost increases, which are usually two to three times inflation.
Something is badly wrong in academia if they cannot grasp the concept of a budget and living within their means. Of course, maybe they just watch how most governments behave and act accordingly. They really need to watch how businesses behave and follow that model instead and contain costs.
