Some items should be cut 100%.
The one upside to a down economy is it sometimes forces the legislature to do what it should have done all along but lacked the fortitude to do: make cuts.
Just because we can afford to do something doesn't mean we should be doing it.
Cut the budget. Cut the wealth redistribution.
Cut the entitlements.
Encourage people to stand on their own two feet.
Require public service to be service, NOT the best paying gig in town.
