Grade on article F.
Cougars just swept SDSt. Everyone gets an A+.
It was a complete team win.
I give them a 3.9 GPA
Give them a 4.0. They beat a great team on the road.
Good grades all around. I love this game. Grading all players an A is proper as they all contributed for this signature win.
Studying paid off . They went out and pulled of an A+ win. Even on Hedgie's scale that's more than just a passing grade...It has to at leat be a stingy B-.
Still "No Joy" in Ann Arbor...or in Uteyville.
Scoobie
Emery kept Gay under wraps. He gets extra credit.
Did Gay actually play in the game.... Didn't notice him around much....
Too bad the article didn't mention the coaching. BYU coaches were prepared for this game and made the right adjustments at half-time. Grade: A+
I also believe that coaching by SDSU is what cost them this game. They did not adjust to the way the cougars were playing. The way they dealt with Jimmer was good (rotating three players, keeping two on him most of the time), but they should have changed things up once they noticed that the rest of the team was shooting over 60% due to wide open looks.
All of this with Collinsworth sick and Rogers and Anderson hurt. No one on BYU looked nervous. This is a great team and is a blast to watch. Beat NM.
