Comments about ‘High school basketball: Region 20 title up for grabs’

I like Valley to win this tournament. What the Buffaloes lack in size, they more than make up for in speed and athleticism. That 2nd round game vs BV should be a barn-burner. In the end, I think it will come down to a matchup of the superstars and I'd take Maxwell over Roundy any day.

As for Piute, I have a gut feeling that they just might fall to a 4th seed or 5th seed. I guess time will only tell.

Region 20 is the Big East of 1A hoops, and I can't wait for the action to kick off!

Go buffs I'll be there all week never miss a game, I love high school athletics :)!

Call me an idiot but i see Pang. winning the tourney, they are playing great right now and they have the expierence to win it all, Valley Piute, and BV will crack. should be an exciing tourney

Great article. I am really impressed with Mr. Sorensen's writing this year. I am also really excited for this year's region tournament. The winning team will be the one that comes to play and doesn't let down. I am not even going to try and say who will win. I just know there will be great basketball played for the next two weeks!

You are incorrect. Piute can't take 7th. They have the first round bye and so the worst they can do is fourth place. Also, Panguitch and Milford cannot finish first and second, they play in the first round so they can't finish in first and second. I don't agree with your other predictions but you are entitled to your opinion, but as far as Piute, Panguitch, and Milford, you are incorrect. Those things will not happen.

Well you get my point all the "good teams" will choke i love pang. chances and Milfords they will have a successfull tourney, i like wayne and escalante coming out for vengance and doing better than people excpect they will pull out some big upsets cause the other teams will overlook them

I agree with you bballfan101 that Wayne and Escalante will do better than expected...Wayne wouldn't give up in baseball...let's give 'em a fight in basketball, too. GO BADGERS!!
