How random. I was just listening to AIC's first album yesterday and thought to myself "I wonder what ever happened to Mike Starr?" Question answered: Apparently he's been doing a lot of drugs and getting arrested 30 miles away from where I live.

Another life ruined by drugs. Very sad.

This poor guy couldn't win for losing. He is a big hearted guy who will never recover.

Darned good bass player, actually. I don't care if he hasn't been in AIC since "93; he takes a rightful place in music history not only as a founding member of AIC but also for one of the most awesome musical effects ever recorded (his bass playing on Rooster). I say welcome to Utah, Mike, and I hope you find the right solution here.
