Revoke the Driving Privilege card for all ILLEGALS. This will clear up much of the ambiguity that surrounds this topic. Plus it would eliminate "race" as an issue. You are ether properly licensed or you are not.
Please Legislature, do it this year!

no new laws just enforce the laws we have if the law enforcement wont do there jobs replace them as a life long Utahan i have had enough we don't want people that come here as law breakers do it right or not at all if you break the law getting here you do not belong here we can't afford the drain that they put on all the systems and us.......

The Roble's bill is DOA - the Feds control the borders, not the Utah Legislature. Any State guest worker program will be irrelevant unless it has buy-in from the Feds.

The only bill that really needs to get passed is the one that penalizes employers who do not use eVerify, or who hire illegals. Get rid of the jobs and you will get rid of a lot of the illegals. The ones that are left can be handled at our leisure.

So Veteran Sen. Curt Bramble, R-Provo is responsible for Utah's illegal alien 'driving privilege card'. What is going on here? Someone breaks our laws so we pass new laws to make it easier for them to continue to break our laws. News flash: There are lots of people in Utah that want the 'privilege card' revoked.

Now Sen. Luz Robles, D-Salt Lake City wants to issue 'accountability and state-issued work permits'. WHAT ARE WE THINKING? Why should people who work very hard to legally immigrate go to the bother and expense. Just sneak in and let us give you a privilege card and work permit.

So Rep. Jeremy Peterson, R-Ogden says "The voters wants something done. That was loud and clear.." Are you kidding. Yes the voters want something done but that isn't passing more laws to give special treatment to illegal aliens.

If the libs/government expects US citizens to respect the rule of law and they don't expect illegal aliens to do the same there is something really wrong.

We had better start calling and emailing our representatives and tell them to pull it out and turn this around.

What part of illegal do they fail to understand.

Giving illegals a "get out of jail free" card instead of sending them to their home country is totally unacceptable!

Legal immigrants are welcome, but illegal are not. Anything that tries to compromise between the two is unacceptable.

If the Robles/new guy bill passes, they might as well add in an "unauthorized bank withdrawal permission slip" so bank robbers can support their families too by breaking our laws.

Sandstrom's bill is the only one worth pursuing, and even that is being watered down too much!

The Sutherland inst. in not right leaning! Sen. Robles wants to grant guest worker cards to the illegals. A guest is someone who was invited, not someone who broke into your home. We need american jobs for americans. Its tough out there.

It's time that the legislature revokes driving privilege cards. If you're here legally, you should be welcomed and be able to get a regular driver's license. If you're here illegally, you should have nothing to "legitimize" your illegal presence in this state.

It's also time for workplace enforcement. We need a task force that makes sure that businesses are hiring only legal workers. Those that are not deserve to be penalized.

The place to start is going after the people who are facilitating the problem in the first place -- the businesses who employ the illegal immigrants. The illegal immigrants come here for the jobs. Take away their incentive to come.

Support LEGAL immigration and LEGAL immigrants. They "did it right" when they immigrated here, and deserve our support.

As illegal immigrants from south of our border and other areas continue to rapidly colonize the southwest for their own purpose, I wonder how people will feel in not to many years from now as they look back at this period. Those who could have spoke up but have muted their voices because they fear crossing the political correctness line will be hard pressed to complain about higher taxes and increasing crime. What about those who will be displaced by illegal immigrants from their jobs and neighborhoods? Will they see the change as progress or regret their silence and inaction? We dont have to just sit and take this unlawful change. It is not wrong or immoral to enforce our laws and protect our borders. As an American it's your privilege and your duty. Tolerance is not complacency.
