YAWN...Bye Bye MWC and good riddance to you, your schools and your un-fair TV situation. Poor BSU, Nevada, Fresno and Hawaii. Welcome to Mountain West Incompetence and frustration.

I say this

Craig Thompson is quite the guy. He loses his three best schools in the MWC and still can't accept any of the blame. Too bad Utah State didn't get an invite they deserve it....The state of Utah has carried the MWC for years!

The interview was on the mt. channel so no one saw it anyway....

I am glad BYU will not be part of the sorry MTN network anymore. I look forward to watching them on TV next year. Hopefully we will see about 1/2 the games.

As an Aggie fan, I feel that I am left to choose between Satan and Lucifer. Staying in the WAC doesn't seem like a good idea, as it is a sinking ship. But if we get into the MWC then nobody will ever see us play again. Goodbye ESPN b-ball games. Honestly, I thought ESPN would step up to the plate and offer some serious cash to the WAC to keep it floating. Don't they need it for the Thursday/Friday night football games?

Funny how you don't see Ute fans putting down the MWC. It's the tds way to discredit everything that once was them.

Funny how you don't see any Ute fans putting down BYU. It's hedgehog's was to discredit everything that he's jealous of.

You're right, hedgehog (about BYU fans dissing the MWC---this one included). It's a coping mechanism. Utah is headed to greener pastures in the PAC-12, so there's no need to trash the old girlfriend. BYU is heading for unknown/uncertain pastures as an independent/WCC member, and the MWC is an easy scapegoat to blame for this situation. But no one is clairvoyant, and 3 years from now could see Utah wishing it could trade places with BYU. You never know...I personally hope both schools thrive.

I also belive both schools will be fine.

Hedgie only puts down that which he fears.

Hedgehog, the stalwart defender of the MWC. If he had his way, the Utes never would have left the MWC for the greener pastures of the PAC. He's devasted that his Utes won't be featured anymore on his favorite television show "Around the MWC."

Here's one Ute fan that is wondering how Thompson keeps his job. Can there be a more inept Conference Commissioner in collegiate athletics?
