Unfortunately, this article is more marketing than fact. As a doctor, I can tell you there is no publish data to support these claims. I would hope that doctors would be more honest when dealing with new technology. The fact is this significantly increases the cost of care without changing the outcome. In fact, all patients are up walking the day of surgery to avoid known complications such as blood clots and pulmonary embolism. Please, allow this comment to be posted in the interest of your readers.

Robotic surgery adds expense to the procedure without documented improvement of outcomes. Unless unable, all knee replacement patients are walking the day of surgery to avoid complications.
