Maybe they will have to resort to electronic debit card machines in the future. No one knows what change is for or how to use or even has it. The epitome of a cashless society.

I have to feel sorry for young children of today who may never see a dollar bill or know what change in your pocket is. They will think the US federal reserve and mints are where credit cards are made.

Correct me if I am wrong but I always thought that the Salvation Army was a Christian organization. That said, on two occasions this season the bell ringers have said to me Have a nice day and Happy Holidays. Both turned me off with thoses greetings. I told them both Merry Christmas is what I wanted to hear. I called the Army office in Ogden and the person I talked to just shined me on. I donate elsewhere now.

We have a neice serving a mission in Minnesota and they donate some time to ring the bell and sing Christmas carols while ringing. She says they get lots more donations. Maybe our area should look at that idea.
