I hope they sue him, also, for that terrible company name--Ominture. Wow. All these creative, cutting-edge business names are huge jokes. Progrexion, Achievance, Ominture...Interslice...
It's because it's hard to find a domain name that's not taken. So you find the one that's not taken that at least seems like a word.
This is indeed puzzling. Having worked for Omniture and having had Corda as a client and therefore knowing something about both companies, it's not too hard to see that there is some competitive overlap between the two. It seems like James would have considered this or have gotten some good legal advice, or best yet--have consulted Adobe directly, before buying Corda out. I suspect there's more to the story than what we get in this article.
