I can't help but wonder how long this made in china built by cheap Mexican labor road will last. I have to wonder when it will have to be closed because of hazardous chemical exposure from Chinese materials. This whole corridor design and construction has been a farce and costly loss for Utah citizens. It's not a loss for illegal aliens or mexico because they didn't have to pay any taxes to pay for this wasted and ill designed freeway. UDOT even put in major exits that don't even have an exit road at 11400 so. Millions of dollars on exits that don't go anywhere. Who is getting all the billions being put in this project? Not Utah citizens, not Utah taxpayers, not Utah industry, not in job creation or benefits, not even federal highway system, so what has been the benefit of billions of dollars spent on this project in Utah?
For a major state road project it has all the earmarks of a doomed road, just look at the legacy highway boondoggle. Another major project by the same construction company/UDOT team.
