Really great (and viable) new acts are hard to find. Y'might look for someone who has mastered and who honors an existing genre, but without being (the kiss of death...) "derivative". And y'want someone FRESH and surprising and brave and cutting at the same time, but without being too "avant" -- y'know? (Viability counts for SOMETHING.) Well, this gal's got it all. And that's one super duper rare combo these days. Treat yourself -- go download a whole smattering of whatever you can find on her, and then... if you're EXTREMELY lucky, get yourself in the same town as one of her upcoming gigs. This is the real deal, folks.
Great pics and write up - but it is just a touch of the "real deal" - her depth and talent are amazing - esp. in person.
meh - kind of like all the others. trying to make a break. there isnt anything interesting about this. shes kinda pretty tho. maybe she should act. tons of actresses have music as a background. ie minnie driver s johansen
