sounds like the park is running into financial problems. A 2 yr old can see that. It hasn't been advertised before the economic problem, yet now it needs money that the citizens don't have. Close it down and sell it to the canadians for the over-priced games that no-one can afford to attend at over hundreds of dollars a ticket. As for the opening and closing ceremonies, forget it, your talking a months mortage for that.
The article simply revealed the wonderful legacy that our 2002 Olympics left us. Read the title one more time. I enjoyed the article and the associated costs seem reasonable for the experience IF I should be interested.
Go whine to Obama if you need some subsidy to play or attend the Olympics. I for one enjoy watching others compete in these sports and am so glad that Utah has the legacy and the funds to maintain them. Utah will continue to reap the economic rewards of having the events here.
And by the way...Thanks Mitt!
I have taken a skeleton done the track in Park City and it is a thrill. These are great programs and the prices are reasonable for what you get. Only a few places in the world you can try it. Highly recommended.
I attended a few events during the 2002 Olympics. Wonderful experience and worth the price of admission. Nothing like it. Best event experience I have ever attended.
