Under the present circumstances, why can't these children be considered for adoption? Why must they accept that they will have to grow up in this particular place and accept that they will never belong to a family? Times change. Everything's changed now. Surely "hope" can be a possibility for these children and their caretakers. Please respond with any possible ideas.
Bring them to America, I would take one of two, and I know many others that would also.
If they could get a sponsor in America would that allow them to be adopted? How much does the sponsor have to give.. what is all involved in that. I agree just cause they are teenagers does not mean that they should not be allowed to be adopted.
These zealots are being too eager to kidnap and displace these children to export them like they were a commodity for the american market. From what we hear, every child they find is an orphan prime for kidnapping and selling in america. These children are stunned, hurt, and in shock. They need care and help, not indiscriminate kidnapping and call it adopting.
Adoption agency's have struck a gold mine in this disaster and no one is thinking about the children and their families. Every child found wandering the streets is being called an orphan so they can be sold to buyers. This is not giving them aid, its outright kidnapping and human trafficking.
These Children (in this article)were orphans before the earthquake happened, so no they are not being "kidnapped!"
Rebecca is doing a great job in Haiti.. Please donate, she has lots of integrity, and her work is real... as an Haitian myself living in Saint George, I have lots of respect for what she is doing in Haiti. we can do it ..They need our loves and helps...
