" Most residents avoid contact with strangers. National Geographic was given access to the community only on the approval of the church leadership, in consultation with the imprisoned Warren Jeffs."

Yeah, outrageous alright.

Jeffs deserves to rot in prison. I hope he dies in prison. He doesn't control "his people" any more. Give those poor people from the FLDS faith have all of Jeff's money, while Jeff's rots in jail for his evil doings.

And Jeffs pulls his strings. Jeffs is still Corporate Sole and nothing is done with out his say so.

He likely runs the FLDS by way of relaying documents through his meetings with PIC, which are protected client / attorney documents.

Does Pic dutifully send them on to Warrens hencemen?

A question to ponder.

LDS v FLDS | 8:36 a.m. Jan. 23, 2010
Wisan is the state's point man in the attack on this religion. It's the LDS against the FLDS, something the constitution was supposed to protect us against in this country, but doesn't. So the state, through it's agent, intends to impoverish all these people and drive them from their homes. It this were taking place in China, it would be big news here, and people would be up in arms.

I found it interesting a couple of weeks ago in a hotel in St. George, there was a brochure for the "Polygamy Experience". It touted the life style and had a phone number to call to set up a tour in Colorado City and Hilldale. I found that real interesting. I didn't go on the tour. I used to live by the Allred's when they lived in Murray so I've had all the polygamy I need.

The tenants of the FLDS religion already have encouraged their followers to be watchful and wary of all who intrude and/or are nosy. There is a history of sneaky outside investigators altering the truth of what they think they see there. Warren Jeffs does not need to overlord all that goes on there. There is more free will in the fundamentalist community than the world cares to imagine. Especially for the females...I should know. I grew up there in the FLDS community.

Stop Bigotry in Utah | 3:14 p.m. Feb. 6, 2010
It is time to stop this religious bigotry in Utah. I don't care how unpopular a religion is, the state should not be deciding who controls their finances. This is a huge violation of the Supreme Court ruling of "separation of church and state," and the constitutional guarantee of states "making no establishment of religion."
