Wow

What a game this was!!

Jazzfan

Shoot...really wish I didn't miss this game. Way to go Hawks!

Coach Barker

Alta is consistently well-coached and a tough team. I attribute that to Coach Barker and his quiet confident demeanor. Way to go Hawks!

Agree about the coach

Steady and confident. The teams is following that example. They don't get rattled and know they can come back. They are stepping up and should make a great run in the state playoffs.

Go Hawks!

Everybody wins

Yaaaayyyy...everything is wonderful. The coaches did great. The players did great. And the referees, especially, did great. Thank you refs for the sacrifice you make to help our kids enjoy athletics the way they should be played with good sportmanship and more attention on academics.

this was a fun game to watch and seemed to be over a couple of times but Jordan didn't fold and got it into OT. I agree as well about the coach at Alta, there were several key calls that were questionable but the Coach was very calm and composed even though they could've been game changing calls. Nice win Hawks and way to take a game over Jordy!

Are you kidding me?

What are you talking about - Everbody wins?
The refs did a great Job???????????????????????
Why do you think it was 19 to 2 in the 3rd qtr? When one ref takes it upon himself to make every call on the court for a whole qtr something is wrong. Didn't you see the standing ovation he got when he finally called something on Alta in the 4th qtr.
I'm not going to blame the refs. A win is a win and a loss is a loss. But PLEASE be honest.
Good job Alta. It was a very entertaining game.

Great game

I really hate blaming anyone but the teams that play the game. That one ref was unreal. I'm sorry but he really has something against Jordan. This wasn't the first game that we have noticed this. Again, not making excuses but everyone there noticed it. Not a suprise. It's sad that one person, can change the entire game by being so biased. Oh well, it was a great game. Congrats Alta, you did a great job capitalizing on those phantum calls.

seriously?

You guys have got to be kidding me, right? That game was poorly called by the refs. The Hawks 19-2 run was made possible by those horrible calls. Jordan had that game in the bag and, fortunately for Alta, they had a ref on their side to hand them the victory. But if you all are comfortable with that then so be it.

Sarcasm

There was sarcasm in the "Everybody wins" post. Sorry you missed it. : )

I don't think that anyone that attended the game would disagree that one official took the game over in the 3rd quarter. It was unfortunate. I would be curious to see how many calls that one guy made against Jordan in that quarter. It was pretty bad.

Nice game Alta, congrats!

Good Job Alta

Kudos to Alta, no question refs were bad, but equally bad on both sides. Will be a different game in the Beetgarden!

Go Diggers!

Out of State Fan

Nice job Hawks. It really pays not to panic when you are down. Now just get to work on your free throws (that's what wins close games) and you can go all the way!!

brighton fan

brighton will beat alta this friday by at least 15 points alta has no answer for corbin and sam. game over brighton by 17 take it to the bank

Jazzfan

This year Alta has always made substantial runs in the second half. I wasn't at the game so I am not able to comment on the referee's but what I do know is..ref or not, Alta consistently performs in the second half. Not suprised by the outcome.

Region 4

Best ever!!!!!!
