Pierce's point that this so-called show is just a rehash of prior legal dramas is largely correct. However, Pierce has missed the fact that this new production promotes immorality, dishonesty, and greed to levels never before seen on television. Indeed, this production represents the worst of everything that modern Hollywood has to offer: an attractively packaged product that conceals the great harm hidden within.
