Brilliant idea

"...to arrange for a helicopter and pilot in Puerto Rico who could then fly to the Dominican Republic, pick up fuel and supplies, then make cargo trips back and forth to the orphanage by landing in the open fields nearby."

See if the LDS Church's area President, Elder Francisco J. Vinas, or the Church authorities in Puerto Rico or the Dominican Republic could make it happen.

I once had an idea about aid to the Congo/Rwanda border. Called LDS Humanitarian Aid--with really no thought they would take me seriously--but they did.

They kept passing me on from one department to another, to try to find the right person I should talk to. But they were willing to listen and help.

Its worth a try.

Jeremy's mom

Jeremy is now in route with his daughter Gabriel after he helped with evacuating her & 20 other orphans from the Creche in Haiti. The orphans have parents waiting for them in Fort Lauderdale. We want to give a special thank-you to all those who have helped in this rescue effort. Our prayers along with so many others have been answered.
