I can't wait for "8: The Mormon Proposition". I think it will be the break out movie to keep an eye on.

8

8 will be interesting, but my impression is that its inclusion in Sundance is more a statement by Sundance than a decision based on its quality or objectivity. Still, it will have an important message, and will certainly create a lot of buzz within the community--my guess, however, is that it will be significantly overshadowed by the higher quality films at the festival, and the media will enjoy the stir it creates here rather than much in terms of the film's stand-alone appeal.

SaltySeaShells, SunDance!

Another beautiful place to visit and for events Sundance ski resort many reviews,films..And the Sundance Catalog of shops.

And those BEAUTIFUL people that live aroun here as well!Thank you Mr.Robert Redford.

ND-2?

So what did Napoleon Dynamite have to do with this article? I'm confuzzled. Is there going to be a sequel? I'd like to see a sequel. Of all the movies mentioned in that list, nothing seemed as appealing as watching Napoleon in a new movie. Can't we just have that?

Napoleon Dynamite?

Shoot me, but what a stupid way to start this particular article. Someone did not pay attention in English 101.

Bonapart Trinitrotoluene

Actually, that is a great way to start the article since it is an indication that you never know what might come of the festival. That was one of the strangest outcomes of film development and presentation.

Beautiful people?

All the celebs that come are all hypocritical. Some of the biggest carbon-foot printers in the nation. Mr Robert Redford, I see you burning wood on designated "red" days.

Pagan

I'm surprise Reed Cowan didn't name the movie "Monson & Me" or "Bowling over Mormons."

Clark

Maybe someone can answer me this question. At the Sundance Film Festival, there are documentaries featured in a competitive category and some in a non-competitive category.

Why the two categories? And why is Reed Cowan's film about Prop 8 in the non-competitive category? If it's as wonderful as everyone says, I thought it would be a shoe in for Grand Jury prizes.

SaltySeaShells Im only visiting

Im only here to take Photos Ski Valley Enjoying the clean air for a Day once in awhile~
