This is a great idea, and a tribute to Koda and the remarkable service police dogs provide to the police department and local communities. I could not be more in favor of this choice.
get over it already!
He would be a fine K-9
to the Midvale Police Forces and
great protector ..RIP KODA K-9..
Do the K'9's have the protective vests? If not, perhaps they could be considered and if funds are not available, the community could have a fundraiser, or an Eagle Scout could take on a project, for example. Koda was shot in the chest, and one of the vests could have saved his life.
It is just great that Salt Lake County and the UPD have donated the money to get a new dog for Midvale. What a grand spirit of cooperation between these police depts. True brotherhood when the other needs help. This renews my spirts.
