Harvey is really fantastic. He will make everyone forget about Luke Staley and he will help take BYU to greater heights.
WOOOOOO-HOOOOOO!!!!!!
You can start the hating any time now, yewt fans.
Translation: The NFL doesn't want him.
Boo hoo hoo!
It's gonna be a great season--go Cougars!
This is great news. Look forward to another 10 win season.
Good luck Harvey!
the hits just keep on coming. .
than rather being a 6th round pick of St. Louis.
Great news for the team. His leadership and attitude will definitely help the offense in this upcoming rebuilding year, and I predict that he will greatly help himself for the draft next year. Work hard on your degree and make us proud!
The team just got a little better for next year! Too bad the draft didn't look so good for him this time but hopefully he'll have a great senior year and improve his stock.
Go Harvey!! Go COUGARS!!!!
Harvey will be a great plus for BYU and the running game will be strong for several more years!
I wish him every success and good health!
Glad he's coming back.
I think that's a wise choice, Harvey, we'll be happy to have you back.
I thought he was surely headed for the NFL. We need more classy players like Unga who just get it done for the glory of the team, and less of players like Hall and Collie who love to put the spotlight on themselves. Heaps and Unga are going to be a force!
Sorry Ute trolls.
I am excited for this decision. I think the NFL wanted to see how he does as a focal point of the offense and not a side note to Max Hall and the passing game. Although I do think he should have had 5-7 more carries a game which would have created a more balanced offense at times for BYU and kept offenses like FSU and TCU on the sideline a little longer than they were. I mean look at the success Boise had against TCU running the ball. I refuse to admit that they have a better offense line than the cougars and their running back was not that great. They just used TCU's aggressiveness against them.
That should certainly make the new QB happy!
This is great! He is going to help the new quarterback settle in and take some pressure off of him. Hopefully BYU has another great season
Getting a degree and not putting all of his eggs in one basket sounds like a very good choice. He will have some good options should the NFL not work out.
Unga will ease the transition with a new qb and be a mentor to the new backs. Unlikely preseason top 25, however, but a 10+ win season seems very realistic. If he can stay healthy all year, this is a very talented team
