who cares

about notre dame.

Oz

Answer to WHO CARES...no one. Not me at least.

one lasting memory

I only saw 1 play with Chris and it wasn't good. a PG kid nearly knocked him out. still makes me cringe a bit.

Good on you, enjoy south bend. good luck!

NptreDame

is really hurting to pull stunts like this. It shows they are not concerned about education, just football. Have these players graduated from high school? No ethics here!

if

If you don't care, why bother posting anything? Why even bother reading the article?

RE: who cares?

I do...and obviously the DNews does as well. The question is why did you feel compelled to read the article and spend your time posting a comment if you don't care?

GO IRISH!

brian

Good luck Chris. Make Utah proud.

me

I care. Go ND!

Legacy

Dear "who cares" and "Oz"...try opening up a college football book some day and look at the Legacy that Notre Dame has. I am sure you are pitiful little fans with no outside knowledge of the history and traditions outside of Utah based college teams but please show a little intelligence and realization of a world so much bigger than you.

Long live College football and "REAL" football fans.

Based on prior posts I'm guessing your all not happy that ND is taking the cream of the crop out of Utah. Sorry but that's how we roll!

Go Irish!!

Po

As great as it is to be an ND alumnus, it always gets a little bit better whenever I hear or read someone from some forgotten place at the edges of civilization say that they really, really don't care about ND. If you went to a college, I'm sure I've never heard of it and never will. That's not caring right there. Now, tell me some more about how much you don't care about my school.

irish r back

Great news! GO IRISH!!

re:NptreDame

First off let me say that I can't stand Notre Lame. That said, let me educate you about how things work. By NCAA rules, in order for theses kids to play, they have to be high school graduates. Notre Dame has far higher educational requirements than does BYU or Utah. The fact that these kids have done what they need to do at the high school level and get enrolled at a quality school so early speaks very well of them. Also, many kids graduate early and enroll in school so as to get ahead with both schooling and athletics. Familiar with Jordan Wynn? He graduated early and enrolled early so that he could compete in spring ball and you can see where it got him. If I remember right, Brian Johnson did the same thing. You need to stop looking for the bad and do your research. It only makes you look uneducated.

As much as I hate Notre Dame, I'm quite confident that these players have completed their graduation requirements in Utah. (Remember, Utah has atrociously low HS grad requirements). Notre Dame is a stickler for academics...

PO

Um, yeah, they've graduated from high school. Have you?

To bad Brian Kelley didn't get to coach Cincinnati in it's BCS bowl game. It's going to be a while before he gets that opportunity again.

Hater no more

I used to hate Notre Dame (for no good reason really) until I went to one of the BYU games in South Bend. On a gorgeous fall day I was completely bowled over by the tradition, class and beauty of the university. Very impressive! I'm still not a "fan" but respect the program a great deal.

To all you ND fans

To the ND fans who are offended or look down on those who say' "Who cares about Notre Dame." A little clue. . . they are actually saying that THEY don't care about Notre Dame. The only reason the AP article was included in the Des News was that there was the Provo boy included.

And ND Fan; don't get so full of yourself to think that ANYONE who knows football history automatically is "interested" in ND. I would say respect would be in order. But then again, seeing the sorry way they ripped their coach
from the U of Cincinnati just before their bowl game (biggest one in their history), the respect meter is getting low. . . for ND and their new Coach.

On the other hand: The poster "NptreDame" at 11:02 am (they need learn to hit the keys correctly). . . Yes they have "graduated." They have completed their credits in HS and graduated early; like Jake Heaps, who is now at BYU, early because he finished some honors classes early so he could get to school for the winter semester.

Summation: The world does NOT revolve around the University of Notre Dame and "Touchdown Jesus."

Joe

Chris Badger.
Does any one know anything about the lad?
Is he Irish? Catholic?
Can he play ball?

Are people a little sour here because BYU can't get all the mormons? BYU is a second rate program and even the brothren are realizing this.
