We already have affordable quality health care for most Americans. Nothing the government is planning will improve the quality of health care. In fact, the health care bill specifically prohibits the building of more hospitals without governmental approval. And with the increased demand brought about by reducing deductibles and giving free health insurance to many of those who currently are uninsured, demand will go up. That means more patients for each doctor and more patients at each health care facility. Look at education, for example. Private schools often have 10 to 15 students per teacher, while public schools have 20 to 30 or more students per teacher. Thus public education quality is low, while private education quality is high. Expect governmental health care quality to plummet. As for affordability, don't kid yourselves. The government is far less efficient at running any segment of any industry than the average private corporation. The government is famous for siphoning off money allocated for programs just to run its bloated bureaucracy. Private health insurance companies are as efficient as they can be and still spend one-third on running themselves with a nickel per dollar for profit. But who needs facts?
