Great!

Great Work!! Now, we need to prosecute to the fullest extend of the law and throw away the key!No one deserves to die like her at point blank!!

Good. I hope the second man is the otehr one they are looking for. May they spend the next 75 years in a 6 x 8 room. Good police work.

...assumiong they dont get the death penalty...

Delta Alum

RIP Josie. Now we can all celebrate your life and know that these bad men are behind bars. You will you be greatly missed. MY heart goes out to the Greathouse and Fox families. I grew up in the wonderful community of Delta, UT. I wish i could have been there last night for the vigil. You were all in my thoughts and prayers.

these guys deserve no justice. they deserve to be lined up in front of 6 shooters and be done with...TODAY. They lost their chance at justice once they decided to assassinate an officer out of malice. R.I.P Josie.

God speed Josie! Gone never forgotten!

Forget throwing the keys away - send this piece of trash to the death chamber. He doesn't deserve free board and lodging for the rest of his life. There is simply NO extenuating circumstance that can excuse his crime. He did it so easily he must have killed before.

Dogs

Bill O'Reilly is unamerican and shouldn't be in this country.

PDX

Death penalty! Nothing short of that!

Mike

It's too bad he didn't resist. It would have saved the taxpayers some money had the cops been able to shoot back.

I wonder how her brother feels, since it is his drug deal with the bad guy that directly lead to her death.

Just Me

Who cares about Bill O'Reilly and hoping he picks up the story. How lame can you be? Lets just swift kick these guys to the firing range and show criminals who is in charge.

Great News

At least the friends and family of this officer know that these criminals are no longer out there posing a risk to others but that's little consolation when the criminals will now get lawyers, at our expense. Their rights will now be protected. I agree that this story should receive national attention.

@carter

So due process doesn't exist in your world? The America I live in has to prove guilt and then they mete out punishment. I realize that people are emotional over this, but come on, this kind of hyperbole makes you look foolish.

Re Carter

That all sounds good except that once you start picking and choosing who gets a trial and who does not then the next person who does not could be YOU. Charge them with Murder 1 with the Death Penalty . Trial . Sentencing . Death . Is that so hard ?

Valentine

An investigative reporter needs to dig deeper into the slain officer's brother.

Calvin

I believe there should be a trial, but I don't believe this man is innocent. He has got a right to a fair and speedy trial, and we can only hope that he receives his just desserts. He deserves the death penalty, nothing less. May God be with Deputy Fox's family at this difficult time.

A new window for bigotry!!

I'm a naturalized citizen and everytime something as terrible as this happens I close my eyes and hope it's not an inmigrant legal or illegal. It's doesn't matter the status: this is food for red necks who don't react in the same fashion when a national AND particularly white commits similar crimes. We have the case of the young American student in Italy who was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Italians turned red necks too and many Americans didn't like it. Justice should prevail but let's be upset at ANY criminal not only those who have different skin color. This is what others call profiling I call it bigotry!

Dorfman

The republicans would have this guy on the ticket with Sarah Palin. The repubs will have him bunking with Scooter Libby and on the Hannity show very soon.

re: Phantom Panther

It's funny that you don't want this man in America, but since he's in Utah you being a Utah Republican have no problem with him being armed, like he was.

Does the word hypocrite mean anything to you?

Great Work

Way to nab this guy quickly! It won't bring back the poor officer who was shot but it will send a message to all others who dare to commit such a brazen crime-we will find you and we will find you quickly.
