Davis is 8 and 1 against viewmont since 2005
Viewmont was 12-0 at one point against Davis when the two schools were at even enrollments...Welk was the coach then too, so what anonymous!
don't hate. appreciate.
You're at a 5a school with around 2,000 kids and your excuse is you can't find 5 who can compete on the b-ball floor?
More execution, fewer excuses.
Your Football team found a way to beat Davis this year and last time I checked it takes more kids to field a football team.
I'm going to back Coach up in a way on this one. If you have over 2000 students to pull from for your sports teams and other endeavors then yes you are going to have better teams. Those schools that have fewer students to pull from don't do as well because the talent pool to pick from isn't as big.
For example...Look at Roy this year in Football. They competed against Davis and got hammered. Davis has over 2000 students at their school. Roy is 5 over the cut off for the 5A classification.
If it was so 'fair' then why not just put all schools in one classification for basketball.
When was Viewmont 12-0 vs Davis? Are you telling me that a span of six years went by and Davis never one a game?! I guarantee it hasnt happened in the past 10 years.
Davis has 2400 students and Viewmont has 1633. the cut off for a 5a school is 1600. the enrollment is not fair if you compare the two schools. of course davis will win more times than not with that many more kids
Viewmont would get its clock cleaned if they were a 4A school, so it really doesn't matter. Quit crying and play the game. Davis is better; end of story.
That is the size of a 3A school. The same disparity exists between Alta, Riverton, Lone Peak, and Bingham. They have more students that the majority of 5A schools.
The 8 players that Viewmont puts on the floor arent any worse than the 8 that Davis put on the floor. Viewmont has had some very good players pass through thier program.
because of their commitment to their youth programs. For all you parents who have kids in youth programs, start working on getting better now and quit whining about how many kids go to Davis!
viewmont would smash in 4 A. but nice try. they beat highland with ease.
Viewmont is 3-0 verse 4a teams this year.
That's OK, we'll just let our wrestlers keep beat up Davis. We'll take what we can at this point. Davis basketball team is the best year in and year out in Region 1. It's frustrating but that's life.
doesn't matter the size of the school you have. if you have Tallon Burton... Game Over
Congrats Darts
