alta did not play anywhere near their potential. they had a horrible game, had to come from behind and yet still had the opportunity to win it. imagine if alta played solid the whole game, what would the outcome be? exactly...alta hawks- best team in state.

Bingham lost to Olympus.

Bingham is clearly the team to beat this year. I can't figure out how they lost to Olympus? There is no way on earth that should have happened.

Alta was the better team in football as well. They just played bad. We heard that before.

Nobody gave Bingham extra points Im pretty sure about that. Your post is ridiculous. Give credit where credit is due. Ive decided some of you Alta bloggers are as annoying as the Richfield ones... an excuse for everything!!!

Bingham got it handed to them by Olympus. I was at the game, it was an embarrassment to the Miners. They were awful.

Bingham made Alta look pretty bad and beat them up and down the floor all night. Whoever comes on here and says that Alta should've won is crazy and clueless because they were not only outplayed but outcoached and outhustled. Alta has the potential of being very good with some great size and athleticism but that isn't enough when you play a team like Bingham. Stop making excuses Alta when you lose because just like in football this Bingham group just plain wants it more than you do.

I knew exactly who won that game. I just like to hear Bingham fans tell me.

I was at the game too. I also have watched all of the rest of Bingham's games this year. Yes they got beat by a very good Olympus team. But it was by far the worst game Bingham has played. The sad thing about it is the fact that Bingham won't get a chance for a revenge game against them. I have no doubts that Bingham would prevail. If Alta can beat Oly by 12 then I know Bingham can beat them also. Any team can have a bad game. As one of Oly's fans has commented before "Oly is like Bingham, a cold shooting night can spell doom for them". The Bullseye is on your back Oly.

Who won out of Alta and Olympus?

bingham may have played their worst game, but olympus played bad as well and still managed to beat them. we only made 4 3 pointers, when we should have been dropping 8.
olympus has the best team in state. no doubt in my mind.

Olympus game means nothing, they will not see them again and has nothing to do with region or state. ITS IS ONE GAME. Great job Olympus, but get over it....ONE GAME

Did I go to the wrong website? Is this the Deseret News or the Bingham High Newsletter? It seems that every other story is about Bingham. They get so much pub you would think they were defending state champs in basketball. Isn't that West Jordan?

You are right - great job Olympus. It was one game. No implications on region or state, but Bingham supporters need to see this as a wake up. Bingham has superior talent, but they were out coached.

You obviously don't follow sports or read the news very much. The pubs always goes to the high ranked teams. Don't you remember Haws and his LP teammates?

Sour grapes? How do you figure? What did Bingham's coaching have to do with Oly's unconcious shooting?
