We "kinda play out of a system" Really?!!! Geepers Creepers! System? Gee it is harder to disect than Peyton Manning, what "defensive system" pack the paint watch Okur and Boozie Snoozie and Milly to let guys go right by?

HEE HEE

What a decision to make

get sloan and O COnnor ouuta here get Ron Luciano or something

em

Mr Oconner! I'm available! I played basketball for 35 years. I am only 48 years old , and from what I have seen, I can play with the same intensity that the Jazz play with under the currant system. Don't worry about me effecting your salary cap by much either, I will play for the league minimum. If you give me the chance, I can quit working for a living, and start playing the game I love. I am 6'1 and I will be able to dunk again in about 2 monthes after signing a contract. If the league minimum is too much,I might be willing to play for 1 hundred thousand a year after taxes.

It doesn't matter who gets brought on as the 13th man. He'll be a bench warmer. Hey Kevin, I'll be your bench warmer for $500k a year!

Dear KOC:
Don't insult the fans by getting some garbage D-Leaguer. It's trade time. This roster is not getting it done. You can be fiscally responsible and still improve this team. That is why you get paid the big bucks. NO D-LEAGUER. Get us some REAL PLAYERS.

NOT McCloud!!!!!

Hey KOC... DO NOT bring in McCloud... he is useless!!! we don't need someone to dribble down to the last 2 seconds and try a stupid, wild shot... that's why you played Price ahead of him...remember?!!!

Dear Coach Sloan

I am 5"11 and can play the 1 or 2 spot. I have long arms which enables me to block shots of taller guys. I even blocked the shot of a 6"5 guy in church ball once.

I am no longer fast enough to guard quick guys, but I will trip them if they turn the corner on me. Also I am not afraid to Call Kirelenko, Boozer and Okur our for having no heart.

I will work for $2,000 per game, and foul out every game due to effort.

KOC is usually

very closed mouth about possible trades. Maybe there is panic in the FO.

Don't make a trade unless it really improves the team by

1. getting a real PF/C who is big enough and can score and defend.

2. getting a real PG/SG who can score and run the team.

3. getting a wing who can shoot.

The expiring contracts are worth more to the Jazz than they are in trade for average players or more bad contracts.

If the Jazz can fix some problems they can buy some time and get much better deals closer to the deadline.

Position for the playoffs! The addition of the right 2 players could make this team a contender. Modification of the offense by Sloan could also.

Cross train CJ/Brewer at PG. Brewer is worth more as a PG than as an SG if he can handle the point.

If

they bring in Knight, Hart, or McCloud, to replace what we had in Eric Maynor then this insaneness will have gone a full circle.

Jerry and Kevin should be held responsible for what they have done to the Jazz. They are killing the fan base.

Hell. Just let Kevin Oc run point , Jerry Sloan small forward and that other dude who sits next to him (they claim he's an assistant coach- but is also as old as the hills) on the bench...am sure that fool can play power forward right?
"System" System- losing system ya. Someone out there please back me up . Aint y'all tired of listening to Jerry talk about how"we didnt execute our offense etc etc"?who cares?

Gabe

I would say let's make trades to make the team worse so that we get lottery picks the next 2 years. Since Jerry does not like to develop young talent, he may also resign while we're at it. How about this idea? I am not being funny, don't you guys think this is a better idea than the current management's ideas?

AHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is getting old real quick and I am tired of no intensity, especially from Sloan. Get rid of Okur, Boozer, Brewer, Miles, Andre, and Korver. Bring IN Gortat, Reddick, and other guys that want to play defense. I hate the Jazz now and wont watch another game until they make changes. Hell! Bring in Fesenko and let him play with Millsap. Boozer and Okur are the worst 2 Big's in the league.

Wah wah ,,,

Cry babies cry...if it does help. Jazz future without JERY SLOAN. period. This person didn't accomplish anything (except stats) in freakin 20 years. I don't see Moses coming.

Chuck Nunn

Actually, as a huge proponent of the D-League, I would love to see one of the top young points there get a shot, or Cedric Simmons, who has been strong for Idaho since signing on. But if there's a trade that will help this team, I'm all for it. But in order to get two for one, that would mean likely Boozer, Okur or Kirilenko. It's tough to speculate, and Kevin O'Connor is traditionally tight-lipped about such things. I reckon we'll see what happens Tuesday, although I expect it will be Jefferson from the Flash on a 10-day contract.

Peace out from the Jazz Oracle!

Miles

reddick to play defense, that is some funny stuff.

BigJazzFan

Does it really matter who O'connor signs?

NO pg they can sign is going make this team better.

atleast not with any of names that have been mentioned.

Reality check

This year was wasted as soon as Boozer did not get traded. Same team as last year folks, how did we do? Everyone else got better, what did we do? Waited for a better offer. You got 2 options now. Stick to that plan and bring in a D-leaguer to finish out the year, or preferably, call up Houston and hope they bite. McGrady = AK + Korver or Miles. It ends our salary cap issues THIS year and then HOU can deal with AK NEXT year! Who knows, maybe you can sweeten the deal and get Battier too by giving them Miles, Korver and Brewer. But to think that we are going anywhere this year is myopic and delusional at best, so make the best of it now and start prepping for next year. At least Boozer and Tmac would sell some tix and give you a reason to go watch some games, something new anyway as we await a better chance next year, cause this aint it.

Chuck Nunn

A trade for Tracy McGrady at this point is NOT going to help the Jazz. I'd like to see him help Houston a bit first, and that's not happening. Hopefully the Jazz will get a good young guy who is willing to learn the ropes, and hopefully they utilize their reserves better than they have been.

Peace out from the Jazz Oracle!

McGrady

is not a smart move. AK is worth more next year as an expiring contract.

So What!!

What is a backup to a backup 8 min/game player really going to do?

Talk about irrelevant.

The starters are playing like dogs--that is the problem. The 13th man on the bench is the lease of our concerns and anyone who believes otherwise has a low basketball IQ.

Disappointed

How about a wholesale house cleaning. Start with KOC and move on to stone fingers Oker, CJ Miles, and either Fes or Koufus. Sloan isn't going to use them properly anyway. Maybe Sloan should go along with Boozer for a taller PF. He is only 6'7" in his bare feet. Dumping AK and his inflated contract would also be nice. Keep DWill, Matthews, Brewer and Milsap because they want to play.
