I was at the game, and it was an unbelievable game. I did not think that either team played their best game, but both teams battled. It was a great high school game to watch, and both teams are going to be very tough to beat this year.

Jordan you did an outstanding job on Clifford. I thought that your game plan was great. Too bad that you had some tough foul calls in the second, I felt that changed some early momentum.

Bingham, you are the #1 team in the state but it will not be easy. You found a way to win, and that is what counts.

all the championships. They have more talent, better coaches and the best feeder system in the state. It doesn't look like it will change soon. Riverton will become dilluted next year due to Herriman High. It may affect some of of Bingham but most parents will want their kids at Bingham because the competition in every aspect is simply better at Bingham. Sound like elitists? I would say yes.

I was also at the game and I agree, this was a great High School game. I really enjoyed the competition and excitment. I was impressed with both teams, but I was even more impressed with Jordan player Joe Mero! What an awesome player and man can he shoot! He kept his team in this game and never quit. Mero is a kid to keep your eyes on and if you ever get a chance to watch him play, I wouldn't pass it up. Great game by both teams, good luck to you both in the season.

Monson deserves all the credit for shutting Clifford down. Jordan deserved to win that game. Bingham is over rated and jordan showed they can play with anyone.

Couldn't agree with you more!!!! Bingham is very over rated. They have talent which will get them far - However, no coaching. Don't understand it. They will lose that talent next year to Herriman when Briggs takes over.

I don't understand the reference to Sommerville's older brother. The writer never cleared that up.

Sommerville's game winning shot was in 2006 against riverton. Riverton missed a free throw to go up by two and with 5 seconds or so he went down and hit a jumper at the free throw line. If i remember right it was over Eric Dearden.

TRUE STATEMENT. Watch the kid... joe mero... play because when he is on fire he is an unstoppable force. Also, Goldsmith is such an amazing player. He dunked on three people over the tourney! He scores when his team needs him to and he's so strong. Also, Monson can shut down the best in the state and sneaky and he can rebound like nobodys business. Steve Morgan is just a great point guard who can put pressure on the other opponents point guard. Hart is just a stud, he is an awesome hustler and plays his "hart" out. Look out for jordan in Region 4.

Bingham beat a very good Jordan team with Clifford on the bench in foul trouble. Bingham's backup center, Brown, outplayed Jordan's post all game. Bingham wins without their star on the court. Doesn't sound like bad coaching IMO.

I loved watching Mero play, he was awesome! Who was the loud guy "coaching" Mero from the stands? He needs to chill! Not cool! Very loud and abnoxious!

Bingham will be contenders in all sports, because they put high expectations and work at it from the little league on up...Herriman could have an impact in 3-4 years, however it will hurt Riverton more than Bingham. When you are at the top there are so many critics..

You can all call Bingham "Overrated" at the end of the season. They will hold the trophies for Region and State very high
