I get tired of the media (KSL, DN, etc) deciding who is guilty and then going after them. I don't know if this guy is innocent or guilty--but DN and KSL, among others, have already decided the whole thing, and are just waiting for somebody to show up with the evidence to corroborate their conclusions.

I am looking for a media source that is fair and unbiased towards all sides, so I can make up my own mind, and come to my own conclusions. I guess I want unbiased journalism. I want someone to be a good reporter rather than a amateur detective. I guess I am too hopeful!

this seems to be another Scott Peterson case!

typical

Pretty much sounds like most marriages in this area. Up. Down. Fresh starts. Re-starts. People with differences and incompatibilities.

Huh.

Marriage.

NOT typical!

I'm sorry, but I don't believe that it is "typcial" for a woman to leave notes to their children at work meant to assure her kids that she didn't commit suicide. There is nothing "typical" in that situation, in this area or any other.

Fredd

I think the reporting is pretty fair. The facts as we know them are damning.

Uh HELLO??? Her friend just said that Susan talked to her about wanting the boys to know that she would never take her own life? I Would say that is a bit of an odd conversation wouldn't you??? Also emails that claim she was fearful of her husband. These are not your normal everyday emails.... marital problems, counseling,Huge money problems, talks of divorce, camping at midnight the night of her dissapearance?? This is not looking good for him and it just keeps adding up......

When your marriage....

...breaks down over religion, and you also believe your life is in danger, praying and fasting isn't going to fix it.

Mothers, please let this be a lesson to your daughters. Even the strongest of women can somehow believe they have to stay, no matter what the conditions.

There ARE shelters you can go to.

Unbaised

However people process the information they read...it is their opinion. No one is making them think a certain way or trying to sway them to thinking differently. That all happens by attorneys before a jury. No need to think any news source is trying to persuade its readers or viewers to decide "guilt or innocence". As humans, we do this automatically. It's like when you first meet someone...you decide if you can trust them. Some people are better at this than others. Over time "trust" may lead to respect if the other person is worthy of it. It looks like Susan's side of the story is coming out although she is missing. Joshua on the other hand doesn't want to talk to the law enforcement. How many of us ever get an "open invite" to talk with the Po-Po's?

The thought of having the One person you love Kidnapped never to be found (sick)Grieving family of SusanPowell
For someone out there knows something..

Missing person report of a Mystery
Over n`Over again for Where is SusanPowell?

As the story is at a standstill?
Josh can not stay SILENT FOEREVER!!!!!

Just about like a ScottPeterson Story him killing wifey LACY and Baby left dead=Rest in Peace=

Push his button

I think Susan's parents ought to publicly push for answers and PUSH REAL HARD. That's the only way they're going to get anything credible.

My heart goes out to them.

All Knowing

"I get tired of the media (KSL, DN, etc) deciding who is guilty and then going after them."

Then you are tired of the US Constitution. It's called freedom of the press. Check the first Amendment.

Michelle

Someone needs to stand up for Susan... it doesn't seem like anyone really is including her family! YES, they need to demand answers!!! Someone needs to DEMAND answers! IT's odd how Josh went to Washington and her family wouldn't even approch their grandchildren & nephews what is wrong with this picture? This is bizarre to say the least starting with Susan's husband!!! IT just doesn't seem like anyone is fighting for Susan and her sweet boys!!! The last thing people need to worry about is wheather or not KSL thinks Josh is guilty! We need justice for Susan! I HOPE and PRAY her family comes back to Utah to help their daughter what ever that may be...

God Bless Susan!

Carol

Iagree with Michelle. We clearly have an abused woman who warned her friends that she would not have committed suicide is she is missing. We have a husband whose wife is missing, will not cooperate with police, and have one of the most bizarre alibis imaginable.

KSL and the police need to wear this man down until he decides to help police find Susan. Susan's family needs to apply any and all pressure on Josh to help police find his wife.

somthin wrong with this pic.

This guy hires a high profile defence atty to do what? Right now it appears it is to insulate him from the police. If you have nothing to hide or be worried about he should be chirping with the police like a canary, Better still if he is on the up and up how about arranging a lie detector test to get the press off his back. For those who think the press and public are being to tough and hasty in their opinions, remember if it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck it more than likey is a duck! Powell is doing very little to help himself if in fact he is actually blameless.

Just wondering!

Who is paying for Josh Powell's attorney?

Why did Josh arrive at the Washington candlelight vigil AFTER it was over?

Why didn't Josh take his grandson over to see his grandpa and grandma, Susan's parents?

Why didn't Josh's son try to break through the people around him to go hug his Grandpa?

Why did Josh leave West Valley City to drive all the way to Washington to be with his father when Josh's father could have come to his home?

Why isn't Josh's family participating in the search efforts to find Susan?

Just wondering Part II

Why are some people so clueless that they think that they have ALL the facts in this case?

Why do some people think that, since they regularly watch CSI and Law and Order, they automatically qualify as the state's greatest detectives?

Don't think Susan

Ever got the chance to leave him. Won't find her taking money out of her acct.A terrible sad event of rage and anger.Josh may think he is a victim, but hasn't learned tht he is rsponsible for what he chooses to do, and it is what he is choosing to not do right now that is making everything worse for him.Prayers and healing for Susan's family. She is one of several daughters and it is a terrible void. May you find a small bit of peace knowing we grieve with you and Utah is also frustrated.

ron

I hope the police are capable of bringing this case to closure. They do not need Susan's remains to make an arrest for her murder. There may already be enough critical evidence in play, but it is probably being withheld while the police connect the dots. Though our axiom is "innocent until proven guilty," fact is, to be indicted, a grand jury needs to believe the available evidence leads to the likelihood the suspect is the actual perpetrator of the crime, and while Josh has not yet been named a suspect, it appears likely he will be so named. The wet spot in the house that was being dried by two fans has not been explained. Josh has to have been questioned on this. Has he been given a lie detector test? Did he pass? It would be common for Susan's DNA to be found in the family vehicle, but not in the rental car Josh rented while the family car was being inspected by the police. Josh's story of the impromptu camping trip and "forgetting" what day it was, only to return home to find Susan missing, are obviously outlandish. I hope Susan shows up alive.

My ex-wife went through an emotional divorce and here is a newsflash...we never thought of hurting each other...I couldn't stand her for many years and even now I am hurt but we have worked to get along for our children and we're now even friends. Most men are not psychos.

Brian

Joshua is a Person of Interest (POI). When they took his van and he rented a rental, why didn't they tail him or keep him under observation since he's a POI? If they had, they would know where he went 100s of miles away during the past 24 hours. Just curious, but with such a suspicious case, I would think he'd be under tighter scrutiny...just my opinion!
