ah, Kim. You were such a fascinating person. I loved watching a documentary about you. I feel like you were somehow a window into human potential. God Speed brother!

I met him about ten years ago. He had some unusual talents like memorizing phone books. He could tell me who my neighbors were from years ago. I kind of enjoyed his sense of humor too.

I had the privilege of meeting this man when he was staying at a hotel where i worked the front desk. He was a sweet man who was amazing to talk to. RIP

til we meet again

Don't you figure Kim is one of the very few if not the only person to end up in the spirit world having memorized all the Standard Works?
A sweet and genuine soul who has nothing to worry about now.

Truly amazing.

I'm wondering what he will be like in the resurrection.

Truly amazing.

Anyone who knew Kim and Fran knew of the almost symbiotic relationship that existed between them. Kim obviously needed Fran, but Fran was equally as dependent upon Kim. My heartfelt sympathy goes to Fran for his loss. Kim was an enigma. Many tried to explain his abilities in terms of his unique brain, but I think Kim's abilities came from a source outside his brain. Most of all Kim was a person who taught us something about human potential beyond what most of us can even imagine let alone explain.

Kim remembered me from the day I was born at the LDS hospital and told me about it. He was only one day older and could recite the day in the baby ward including the nurses names.

Thanks

Thanks for making the world a better place and making us stop and look at what is important in life.

I'm saddened to learn of Kim's "graduation" to a higher life, while being excited for him to move on to another life.

In addition to meeting Kim at youth groups, I was fortunate enough to spend time in airports and airlines and shuttles occasionally traveling with two very gracious and gentle men. It's hard to say Kim without thinking of his father, Fran, and the devotion and friendship which he which freely gave to Kim.

I, too, was astounded by the fantastic mental faculties which he was always willing to share. As a computer scientist, I was constantly amazed at the insights which Kim provided as to the insignificance of man-made hardware when compared with the human mind.

My condolences to his family - and gratitude to Fran for being a grand example to me of unconditional love for a child by his father.

A fellow traveler.

Sobering to think what the human mind is capable of. Why are the rest of us so handicapped? Might the day come when we evolve to enjoy those same abilities, while retaining those we have and he lacked? Would a loving and omnipotent God plan anything less?

We are all so full of ourselves most of the time (and so self-centered besides). Humility is one of the greatest of human virtues.
