urban sprawl

Great, just what we need. More 3-4 bed homes to choose from. All because we can, and it will improve the tax base. Aren't there enough vacant, new homes to buy? I have seen several subdivisions with 50% vacancy. I grew up in Spanish Fork, but have not been back in 15 years. I have no desire to go back either. The city used to have open fields, space, and a farm town community feel. Now the streets are full, no open areas are left, and no one knows their neighbors. It is very sad. I know, my ideals get in the way of progress.
