Interesting story, but not exactly representative of what it's like for most older folks. "Slumping over in their wheelchairs" is a fact of life for way too many people who used to be vibrant, intelligent human beings. We're not doing these people a favor, I think, by working so hard to keep them alive during these last miserable years. I hope by the time I'm 85, we'll have come up with a better way to die.
