Lawmakers should be more concerned about how much personal information is going out. Police reports are not nearly redacted enough. I would hestitate being a witness to a crime knowing that my information will shared because there is so much ambiguity in the privacy laws. The judicial system casually throws out names, birthdates, addresses even social security numbers as though it were confetti. Let's get some clear laws delineating what can and what will not ever be released.
