Sorry to disappoint but it is not Sarah that is telling the lies.
I am in NO way a Sarah Palin fan, but I did find the tone of this article condescending towards women.
The writer should not assume that his personal limitation has anything to do with national politics. grow nup and "get it" and get back to us.
we could really believe in. We need the concience of a really good, hard hitting woman to run this country. And, the military could and would really respect her, even salute her. Our present politicians could not even handle a household budget, look what they have done to ruin America. Yes, I could easily vote for her for President. she knows how to house clean and she is pretty. Look how the jealous women and Hollywood types taunt her. GOOOOOOOOO Sarah Palin.
1. Because Sarah Palin and her husband sat at a dining room table at night with their checkbook and wondered how they were going to be able to afford insurance. Tip O'Neil said "all politics is local" and that's as local as it gets. The "best and brightest" ran this country into the ground economically and Palin understands that you need to balance your checkbook. 2. Because there are too many college football teams for a playoff system. 3. Because Taylor Swift -at 16! - wrote, "You said the way my blue eyes shined/put those Georgia stars to shame at night/ I said, "That's a lie." Go listen to "Tim McGraw" and tell me that ain't country. Three chords and the truth. Something Palin - and America - understands.
I suggest he read her book, just for a start, But the secret is that Palin is the common sense candidate, because she voices the opinions of the majority of the registered voters in the United States. Obama got elected by mimicking their voices, without meaning what he said.
Rational human beings know why Palin's background and work ethic is inspiring and invigorating, not because of what she says she'll do, but because of what she's already done.
Apparently the author has yet to actually investigate beyond liberal and extremely shallow spin. Some actual research will clear up the mystery.
Sarah Palin is the complete opposite of Obama. That's good enough for me. "Obama's fault."
To the Palin haters and naysayers. If you have to ask the question as to why she is so popular with ordinary Americans? You will "NEVER" understand the answer.
These liberals mock Sarah because they fear her. They think if they make fun of her she will go away. Listen liberals, Sarah is NOT going away. She now polls with the same approval numbers as your chosen one. Are you scared yet? Just think about this. There are now enough of us "Dumb" voters to send the chosen one to jail or early retirement in some Chicago slum and put Sarah in charge for eight years. She will also put strict conservatives on the Supreme Court. We will probably have a 7/2 advantage on the court then.
Just as much sense as the starry eyed democrats when Obama came along.
Here's why she is liked:
She knows that free people are more productive than slaves.
She knows that there are people in the world who will slit our throats just because of our beliefs, and has the courage to stand openly in opposition to them.
She recognizes the virtue in strength and courage over weakness and cowardice.
She doesn't hate her country and idolize men like Mao and Stalin, and knows that they were evil.
She values morality, character and self-discipline.
She knows that no nation can live solely off of the largess of its government, and that not even the law can create wealth out of nothing.
She believes in God, love and sacrifice, and rejects selfishness, hate and hedonism.
She believes that a family is the ultimate social network; not bloated bureauacracies staffed by overpaid, small-minded, lazy fools.
She knows that the center of the universe is not herself, or any other human being or group of human beings.
So...what exactly has Sarah Palin "already done"? Many governors face lawsuits and opposition without bailing. It appears to me she wanted to strike while the iron was hot--i.e., cash in when the market for her was at a peak--rather than fulfill the commitment she made to her constituents when she asked for her vote.
As for the comment "If you have to ask the question as to why she is so popular with ordinary Americans? You will "NEVER" understand the answer."--it strikes me that the people who do "understand" will never understand why so many others view her as an opportunist who caught a big break. Chalk another one up for the power of divisive politics...
Sarah's got good old fashioned horse sense and people recognize it. She's able to express the heart of conservative America with an ear tuned to the footsteps of our forefathers.
I very much hope that Palin becomes the Republican candidate for president. That would result in Obama getting four more years.

The Queen of Quit. Blah, blah, blah about nonsense. Still don't know who's raising the kids. It isn't Sarah, her husband nor her parents. This woman is a narcissist.
As a liberal I love having Palin around she is just one giant laugh track waiting to happen. In that vein I have a few questions: 1) If you have someone write your autobiography for you is it really an autobiography? 2) Does Sara sign her name or the name of the author? 3) Is that Russia in the background of the cover photo? 4) Do you think Sara has actually read the book? GO Sara! Keep the laughs coming?
It's difficult to comment on Palin with a rock star in the White House. By comparison, Palin's resume is better than Obama's.
America is looking for a leader who can understand sending a child off to war and can live with the needs of a disabled child.
The left has spent a great deal of energy making Palin a punchline, as some of the comments above will attest. That alone ought to draw attention to her.
Palin would make a perfectly acceptable Senator.
I'm holding out for something even better in 2012, and it isn't Mitt or Mike.
I think the reason why the journalist doesn't "get it" is that he's bought the left wing propaganda on her. Instead of celebrating her accomplishments as a woman including but limited to become a governor he dismisses these as not important. As if. She's the worst nightmare for leftists...a strong, conservative woman who's achieved what she has by living conservative values.
