Nice to see he's back. Now if he could only do the kicking instead of coaching it... On another note, I heard he also coached Moose Bingham, Alta's kicker. Any truth in that? It would explain why he had such a good boot.

Give Phillips some credit. He was 5/5 in field goals in the YBU game, and the MWC special teams player of the week. We all love Louie, but Phillips is doing a good job as his protege.

Please coach, I love Shaky to death, but we have to take the one hopper out of the flanker screen he throws. That play killed us at LES.

Has anybody heard anthing on Matt Asiata. Can he, or does he want to take a "hardship" declaration for this year?

I have no complaints with Joe Phillips either. Great kicker. Missed on field goal all year

I am not being able to attend the bowl game this year but will by a pair of tickets and donate them to a local charity in the San Diego area. (Boys/girls club etc.) I hope a lot of other Utah fans who can't go to the game will buy tix and donate them. We need to support the team anyway we can!

I like Jordan Wynn. He is going to be a great QB. Playing a home school in his home state is going to be a great experience for him as a true freshman. It is exciting to think how well he will grow and improve for next year's season.

I am glad Utah is working on the pass timing because during the last game Wynn's passes were a little too long on some major strikes or the receiver was just a little too slow.

Pass timing is very critical for Wynn. He likes to throw the deep ball but I worry about the inside reads and accuracy on the flats. He will have 3 more years to work on it. Good Luck UTES and make us proud.

I think Jordan is a good QB and I think that he will only get better, another Utah QB that Kyle and the coaches have done great with he certainly has the heart it takes, Congrats and good luck in the bowl game, I'll be cheering for U and TCU and BYU.For some reason I think the Cougars will have their hands more than full with OSU.

I am also a CAL fan and Californian. I don't hate Utah, I just don't think much about Utah. I was in Salt Lake City once. Very hot place. Other than that, I don't hate or even think much about Utah. I hope it will be a good game and I will be rooting for my Bears. I know that our OC coached at Utah last year when Utah was 12-0. He is not a great coach for PAC-10 standards. Too much Wildcat and long bombs. CAL should win their 5th straight bowl game.

Tedhead | 10:29 p.m. Thanks for showing Utahns what class fans Cal fans are. I'm a native Utahn. Try March in SLC when the wind blows down from the north for days on end. The first snow is nice if you don't have to drive anywhere.

That is about how I feel about Cal as a football team. I did not even know that they had one until a few years ago. I know ucla, usc, but cal? I hope it is a good game. What is a good coach by Pac 10 standards? Norm Chow, the new coach at Washington? Honestly, the pac 10 has taken a huge hit this year. Other than Carrol, I don't think there is a lot to talk about.Just my opinion though.

I think the Utes and Cal will have a very good game especially since both are sporting bowl win streaks. Jordan Wynn will be superb and hit David Reed on some deep passes.

I think the BYU game will be a good game too since the beavers have some ability. I hope to see Riley Nelson on the field and getting some Prime time experience and a boost to next year.

TCU should win but BSU is potent on offense.

... Is it too hard for some of you Utah fans to think that a BYU fan from California would cheer for Cal over Utah, and still not hate Utah? After all, I am cheering for Utah (as a BYU fan) because I am from Utah, but I don't hate Cal.

As a Floridian, I have to root against the Gators, because it became almost unbearable with Tebow worship.

As a UTE, I gotta say, we stopped and stuffed Heisman Ingrahm last year in the Sugar Bowl. He's lucky he didn't play the UTES this year!

As a former Californian, gotta root against snooty Cal Bears. Also, we know what you're gonna do on offense (Ludwig=predictable).
