Good to see both Sloan and Williams take the heat on themselves for the loss or
at least where the game got away.
sloan always admits the error when it is too late..
Yes Todd, and armchair quarterbacks are always right, especially in hindsight.
Williams want to be an all star he should play like one night in night out. I am so happy to see coach Sloan trying diffrent subpatterns. They have
82 games to figure it out.I hope he relizes what Mathews has done
defenseivlyMiles couldnt have came close to stopping Granger.his
next week is a test the last few games were nothing. How many times in the
last 20 years have the jazz had the tailes handed to them by teams they should
have won.The elite teams dont slip they take care of business.Nothing makes me more sick when people say jazz have a buch of meadoker
players whos they shure pay out alot of money last time i checked the were
millions over the cap.Coaches collect pay checks on the 1st nad 15th
too.IT IS GOOD TO SEE carlos getting his legs under him and having his
butt down playing better defense.
Ivan--thank you buddy. It's always good to get the input of a BYU fine writing
T-Buck, ESPN's box has CJ Miles shooting 3-for-10. Not a great deal of
improvement yet. Hopefully though with more minutes he gets back on track a
little. The subject of more minutes, however, just keeps bringing me back to
Kyrylo Fesenko, and how he could have used some minutes tonight, and the Jazz
could have used his presence. I just don't understand why Coach doesn't see it
...Peace out from the Jazz Oracle!
CJ Miles is another Chucker. 19mins and what 10 jumpshot. He simply escapes from
contact, OK give that to the injury effect but how can an "injured" player take
10 shots? Where this stupid self-esteem come from CJ? Jerry, why
didn not you continue with Memo-Millsap-Deron tiro and add Maynor to that trio?
That is why you should be in the front office. It is Jerry-Chuck no more needs
to be said. Then again it seems most fans are not to upset losing to a 2-15
team that will likely lose like 5 of next 6 because that is always what happens
when the Jazz lose to teams like that
Todd how true. Most fans are content and understandable and ok losing to a 2-15
team.As you know it has happened for the last 20 years. As a coach
how can you set there with egg on your face and never change. The jazz are
great for the league it gives everyone hope. The only thing more
embarressing would have to be a back to back with Newjersey.
Watch out what you say.. the Jazz play NJ in NJ as well as Minnesota again here
in the next 6 games. If the Jazz win 2 of the next 10 games it
might be these two games but we might see the Jazz be the team that helps NJ
break a really bad streak...I have the Jazz 1-9 in the next 10
between now and Christmas. If they can't beat Minnesota on the road how can
they win any games on their pre-Christmas road trip..? And, the 5 games before
the road trip are all loses 'cause 4 of the 5 are going to stomp on them and
then they meet Minnesota again at home and as 'Todd to Chuck' said about how
they collapse when they lose to a team like Minnesota. My prediction
is the Jazz might, might win 3 games the rest of this year...!
Thanks. What I said though was after a garbage team beats us, "that team" not
the Jazz, loses the next game and goes back to losing again...
I have the cure for what ails Kirilenko and all the other Jazz players with back
problems. It's a safe technique that any of them could do, even while
traveling.I'm certain it would have Andrei back to his old self in 3
or 4 days.Unfortunately, getting the Jazz front office to listen is
like trying to tell Jerry to keep the old player rotation. It falls on deaf
How frustrating!!! Loosing to a 2-17 team!!! My son's high school team could
have beat the Jazz Saturday night!!! Why is Sloan so bent on playing
non-performers when he's got bench players that could do the job? I just don't
get it. Maybe, just maybe there is enough embarassment amongst the team to come
out and show they can win this coming week's games - but I doubt it. I don't
see the hunger.
Are you seriously blaming the coach? The same players who have been
dominating opponents for the last several games lost to the Twolves. Why?Because they have been dominating opponents for the last
several games. They thought they were good enough to win with their
offense and they did not play defense. Typical sissy soft players. The coaches are the same coaches with the same message that had them playing
well as they almost set an NBA record not seen for 15 years by shooting 60% in 3
straight games. The only thing that changed in this game was PLAYER
DEFENSE AND EFFORT.The coaches are the same and the players already
know everything they need to do to win. They get selfish and do not
share the ball like they did in their previous wins and they did not play
defense.Simple...to anyone who knows basketball anyways.
Is it the players fault that the coach doesn't play players who can and will
play defense in the paint? Is it Fesenko's fault that Sloan is to stubborn to
take either Boozer or Okur out of the game?Fes has played pretty
good defense when ever Jerry gets desperate and has to put him in the game.Good comments Md-Jazz fan. You seem to know basketball
Miles took 9 jump shots and 2 layup - He scored 4 points on his layups and 4
points on his jump shoots. This has always been his problem. And until this
changes he should not play
Complainaholics.Sloan is in the Hall of Fame and you are here
arm-chair QBing anonymously on the desnews sports boards about your extensive
hindsight coaching knowledge.I think that fact speaks for itself.Praise to Todd, all praise to Todd and the other negative complaining
