This guy should have been tried and sentenced as the domestic terrorist that he is. He got off extremely easy!
Isn't VIEHL considered a delicacy?
Yes, domestic terrorist. That is what these nuts are indeed!
You want to stay free of a court that you don't trust. Don't do the crime. DUH.
BJ should of thought about all of this, the Eco Terroism Act when he did the crime. Judge Benson was being easy on him the maxium sentence is 5 years!!!
That what he should get! cause he probably will go back to the same old stuff,
he needs to Getalife
Unless the laws have recently changed, the judge is under no obligation to come through a six month sentence. Kudos to the judge for increasing the sentence though an increase to 5 years would have been better. I'm sick of these nuts terrorizing anyone who produces fur or meat, uses animals in medical testing or simply breeds pets for the public. Have a nice time in jail. You're exactly where you belong!
Plea deals, now just what the heck are these. ADMIT GUILTY, then try to cry your way out of your punishment, and if that don't work ask to be given a new
Judge, now come on, do the crime, pay the fine!
Getalife seems to have the habit of taking the brake of his mouth before putting his brain in gear, as evidenced in the Dec 7 post. The issue here is not whether Viehl did it, or his future actions, or any of the other points Getalife has raised in this and other posts. The issue is simply did the government of its free will enter an agreement and then violate it. From what I understand that is clearly the case.
Viehl plead guilty of nothing more than doing the right and moral thing. Animals suffer just the same as we do, and you would be begging Mr. Viehl to open your cage if you were in the position these animals are in. The only reason a compassionate individual has for NOT freeing animal victims from their torturers is indeed fear of law enforcement. These laws are passed by officials with a vested financial interest in these animal abuse industries. These laws are strictly enforced in their protection of the terrorism of factory farming operations, and are enforced with the violence of prison, but the judges will bend the rules of the plea deal to their own ends.
THIS GUY IS A HERO
