Az State beat the dons even worse...not sure if that means anything in manball. AZ state will be in town tuesday night though to test the theory out...
No, it doesn't mean anything. You should keep your couch potato logic off the comment board.
Gretkey's question is a good one---I am missing your point.
I am glad the Cougars won this one too.
What was the score with AZ state and the Dons? I am too lazy to look it up and since it was important enough to say then, please Gretzky, give us the score too.
The Arizona State vs San Francisco Dons score (at ASU) was 104-65. BYU doesn't have the firepower to go against ASU....plain and simple. BYU's losing at Utah State shows the continuing road weakness of the Cougars. They can't play in hostile environments. They don't have the quickness nor the beef to compete against the better teams. And I don't categorize the Aggies as a better team. Nevertheless....go Cougars. They are good entertainment.
pathetic schedule... Why don't they schedule some decent teams? I'll be interested to see how many games they lose when they play someone in a good conf.
When you ave 85 pts/game, it covers up some glaring weak areas like: Blocking out on the defensive boards, moving your feet on defense, protecting the base line, etc. All aspects of your game that allows you to win on nights when the 3-pointers are not falling for you. These weaknesses stand out glaringly when you shoot 35% or less.
Can anyone really call playing at an arena 45 minutes away a "home-and-home?" It's close to home, but not quite there.
Who did BYU crush?
I like the comments so far. I feel that ASU will beat BYU like Wake forest did last year--unless BYU takes the game to them and attacks them continually--as they did last year to WF and when they did, they scored and played well, then they would drop back to their comfort zone and relax and get killed. BYU must attack for 40 minutes. They can relax after the (WIN) game. If BYU gets five players in double figures, they will win.
