Now if only we could get this rule applied to the Social Security office and retirements. I think the state copied the SSA law to offset benefit rights to the workers. If the state can tolerate and encourage double dipping employees engaging in fraud then they don't have an argument against this.
The state can offset this cost just by eliminating double dipping state employees. Make state employees meet the same requirements for retirement at 67 and not 45 and also keep their full time public jobs.
Worker's Compensation have a tendancy to act as if the money they hold belongs to them rather than the workers.
Where does the money come from?
Again our legislature passed a law which was unconstitutional and now State of Utah has a big bill to pay or the people of Utah have the bill to pay but the legislature which passed the bill did so they could save a few bucks but actually cost the people of Utah far more than ever saved. Thats the frugal Republicans in action again.
Well done brother mine!!!!
Great job Phil. You are the best, we have a great man working for us. Thank you for all your hard work, time and efforts you have put into this. Hope many benefit, and it looks like they will, I hope they know who went to work for them.
Thanks again
your Auntie and Friend
Does this mean that only companies in Utah that have worker comp of Utah and are on total disability since 1988 have money coming?
