I worked with Rachel for about a year and a half at the royal jade. She inspired me so much to clean up my act and get my life together, I've never met anyone so deserving of life and her ambition to keep pushing always made me admire her. She was like family to me and nothing in my life is quite the same without her I realize now that she was such a large part of my life and I miss her so very much.... I love you Miss Ra Nay Nay.

Rachel, we will never forget you, you crazy little indian. You were such a sweetheart. My prayers go out to you. And your family in their time of need. I will never forget all the laughs we shared in your kitchen while you painted, or complained about how slow your laptop was, or you dancing around in your mocassins. You are beautiful inside and out. We will miss you everyday

Rachel was the ex girlfriend to one of my friends so I only knew her by aquaintance, and to be honest, I cant remember much about her except that when I helped my friend ask her out, she just laughed and said she would love to. I remember that she was very sweet and my heart goes out to her family, friends, and those at Layton High. I go to Davis High but to all those who are mourning, dont worry, she is happy and in a better place. RIP RACHEL VIGIL!!!!

She always had a contagious smile on her face. The most non-judgmental person I have ever met, in which I thought was only one of her many great qualities. She had so much life and potential. Bless her family! She will be missed.

I wrote this the day I found out...

    "It Could Have Been"

    It could have been me.
    It could have been you.
It could have been your best friend.
It could have been my mom.
It could have been your sister.
    But it was her.

This reality check the world is performing
    Needs to end.
My heart aches for those who truely knew her
    And aches for myself,
That I never had the chance.

    I got up this morning,
    Searching for anything yellow,
    And saw I had none.
I wish I been able to respect such a wonderful spirit.
    And so I write this.

People say things happen for a reason.
But I don't see the reason in this.
No one should die so young.
    Or so tragically.

This whole thing is just so messed up.
I can't believe what we're being put through.
Layton Juniors... this is just not our year.

But we need to stand up
    We need to keep living.
Loving Nate and Rachel all along the way.
    Take the memories
    And hold on tight.

Those memories is what will keep them alive

We too had a recent loss and know that her family will miss her so much. I pray that they will find comfort in remembering her accomplishments and the time that they were given to share with her. She will be waiting for them.

This is so tragic and unfair on so many levels. Such a young soul to go so early in life. Our heart felt sympathies go out to all Rachel's sisters and her brother for losing such a lively and beautiful sister. Our sincerest condolences go out to Rachel's mother for having to endure the unthinkable. No parent should have to deal with the loss of a child especially at such a young age. Our hearts are sad and heavy at the Breeding household. We only wish we had had the opportunity to meet her.

I don't know her, but the loss of any young adult is tragic. My sympathy to her and her family, as I have a 16 year boy that also wants to drive soon. I don't know the details of the accident and don't want to. Our prayers go out to her and her family. They should know that we all mourn her loss.

Rachel was one of the most outstanding girls I've ever taught and her loss is huge both to her family and to the world. I loved having her in class because of her dedication to her education and her brilliant comments and papers. Even more I will always remember our chats after class and her smiling face when we met in the hallways of Layton High School. We'll never forget her, but we will miss her!
