Try being Rail Roaded by the Cops, This was a Traffic Stop.
Why were they searching the Car?
Utah has become an Illegal Police State.
More and more the Cops are going to far.
I do believe some Civil Rights were Violated.
Impeach the judges that set these low bonds.Make them accountable, provided they aren,t "above the law".
can't they just arrest him again? I mean it is no secret where he lives - look it up in the whitepages!
Sorry, Larry. The police have my permission to violate the Civil Rights of these two all they want. These people shouldn't be on the street at all. Hopefully someone will catch them in the act and put them out of our misery.
Re: "I do believe some Civil Rights were Violated."
Yeah -- the civil rights of the decent people of the county to be free of predation by people like these two.
Re: "Why were they searching the Car?"
Duh! Because, as the chief mentioned, whenever these two are out and about, someone is being victimized.
If you're unhappy with that, maybe we should send them to your home the next time we see them, eh?
What an in credible thing to say!! If this guy is terrorizing the north end of Utah County, gets pulled over, is well known to the officer and ends up arrested, that's not being rail-roaded. That's the police doing a good job at what they're supposed to do. The failing is that the courts aren't together enough to see the history this guy has built so that they can hang on to him long enough to get him thru trial.
you are right Larry!!!! It is their right to steal from others! Why they should get a free pass to steal everything that they can. I hope they get caught again and they really have their rights violated by a LONG prison term.
Our justice system is getting worse, not better. First, we need to know the names of the judges that keep setting the low bond amounts and then those who can vote for them need to vote "no" when their names come up again.
The repeat offenders should not keep getting released. Set bond amounts that will keep them off the streets and then put them in prison for their offenses if they are found guilty after a trial. We need to make sure that crime doesn't pay and that judges are not on the take.
This string of thefts can't go on forever. Here in Utah I assume they will eventually run into the business end of a homeowner's shotgun. They really are playing with their lives.
The judiciary is to blame. They should be held responsible. Ia Larry out on bond?
RE: Larry | 4:39 a.m. Dec. 2, 2009
The cops don't need to ask a thief to search a stolen vehicle.
So the Bonnie and Clyde mormon's went bad from Utah, are running while hey?. For a second there I thought it was Hatch and Bennett. They to will steal you blind.
JUst like here.
GARDEN GROVE, Calif. - Thieves in Orange County stole $100,000 in toys and food donated to the poor, leaving an agency scrambling to recover just 24 days before Christmas.
Sgt. James Colgrove said crooks broke into an underground storage facility in Garden Grove over the weekend. They took an estimated 20,000 pounds of food and about $25,000 worth of toys that were donated to the United Labor Agency of Orange County.
They are quilty of plenty of crimes but the courts are wrong for setting such a low bond for a repeat offender. $2,500 bond for the 3rd offense in 3 months. There is a problem here and it needs to be addressed as well as catching the bad guy.
He has 15 felonies and they keep letting him post bail? 15 felonies should tell you something about his character, no more bail!
Maybe pele should learn from all this don't leave you keys in your car then your car will be there when you get out
He has been in prison multiple times he hasn't spent much time out
He has been in and out of jail and prison for the last 13 years. He shouldnt be allowed to post bail. I agree with you anonymous, people should learn to not leave the keys in the car. All the cars that he has stolen have had the keys left in them or they were running to warm up.
They need to lock him up and throw away the key. No more bail. He obviously has no respect for the people who work so hard to have the things they do. As long as he has a free ride, he doesn't care. There is defintely something wrong with the court system when he can keep walking out of jail. Come on Justice System, be fair to the victims. Get him off the street permanently.
There needs to be a better way of informing the courts of a criminal's record and holding these judges accountable for this craziness. If this keeps going, somebody's going to get killed and it may be a police officer or innocent victim.
Larry- your a work of art.
If people are on the run, there not going to just sit at home waiting for the police to show up so the white pages wont work. Judges should be held accountable for what is going on as well. Look at the judge in Tooele that let the DUI guy out. He was removed from the bench.
