Yep!

and I hope they lose!

Re: Yep!

Thanks for the comment Max! I hope you keep on playing just like you have been!!

Soon to be nine in a row!!! Go Utes!!

Max, can you help your Cougars to their 10th all time bowl game victory or do you hate Vegas and all the people there?

Cosmo

Enjoy San Diego, Utah. I would hope you could win that game. No matter how many bowls game you win, we won today...3 for 4 this senior class. I'd say this senior class at BYU has owned the Utes. Glad you had last year to finish no. 2 in the nation...you'll never be national champs.

Pittsburgh, Clemson, Oklahoma State, Georgia Tech all ranked higher than BYU lost this weekend to unranked opponents. What are the odds that BYU, who just beat a very good and ranked opponent, will not move up more than one spot when the next polls come out? I think we are more likely to see Utah stay in the top 25 than we are to see BYU move up in the polls.

Increased parity in the conference? There are three teams that absolutely hammer the rest of the conference every time they play: BYU, TCU and the Team Max Hall Owns up North.

First, congrats to the Y, hope you enjoy Vegas again.
Now, Max you beat a team with a freshman QB, that lost there best offensive player early in the season, then you run your mouth after completing less than half your passes? I though you were a better person than that. Boy was I wrong. Your mouth will fuel many UTE victories in the future, trust me on this one. Glad you won a game that doesn't mean much, enjoy playing in your first BCS bowl, oh, your not going to a BCS game this year. Sorry about that, maybe next year when your gone it will happen. Now wouldn't that be justice.

Stop whining Utes. It's time for all teams in the MWC conference to pull together & root for one another. Best wishes to all teams from the MWC in Bowl games this year.

re: Re: Yep!

Nah, Just the YEWTS and EVERYTHING about that little school!!! SCOREBOARD!!!

Bowl matchup

So both Utah and BYU get the Pac-10 5th and 6th place teams? C'mon MWC Commissioner, we need better bowls. I guess if we win either game we can hear Dick Harmon brag about how the MWC is better than the Pac-10. It would be nice to be playing a team that finished in the upper part of its league.

Re: Cosmo. We have been to two BCS games. You have been to none....do the math!

BYU ruined 2 teams' season

Oklahoma and Utah.

Neither was pretty, but a win remains a win in the record books no matter who gets it.

Good luck to theU in their bowl game, you're bringing back a great team next year too !

Utah

Not only do I hope you lose your bowl game, I hope you lose big!

Congratulations Utes!

Another great season. I expected less after losing some great players last year....again thanks for the Sugar Bowl!

I'm a BYU grad that enjoys great football games and will enjoying watching the Utes deliver for years to come!

Great to look back and recall who was the last team to beat Alabama!!

Wherever they end up I hope they have some class.

You represent the whole state not just your little corner of Salt Lake City.

Don't embarrass us.

Proud to be a UTE, class of 56. The Utes fought hard, almost won and this former trackman is proud of the football team this year. My brother, a grad also, flew in from Maryland and we traveled to Ft.Worth to see that game. I will always root for a team that tries. Bless you all. Last years performance was not a aberation. I must congratulate BYU even though it is painful.

Rumors

has it that Kyle Whittingham is a leading candidate for Louisville job.

Re: Congratulations Utes!

Thanks! It's refreshing to see a Cougar fan that represents BYU well and sets the example that all Cougar fans should follow.

As a Utes fan, I'm disappointed in the loss but exicited to see the progression of our true freshman quarterback.

As an active member of the LDS faith, I'm extremely disappointed and embarrassed for the actions of Max Hall and equally disappointed in those who support him in his actions.

Rivalries are fun but only a momentary escape from the real world. How can anyone who is a true LDS support what Max said yesterday? His actions have hardened hearts and created deep scars. It goes against everything the church stands for. I'm afraid an apology will be required but will only fall upon deaf ears as the one who made such harsh statements just yesterday certainly can't overcome the feelings he's been harboring for over a year, in just 48 hours.

Bronco must better prepare his players in the future as their words and actions represent the church and what we stand for as a people. It's an added responsibility that must be adhered to.

re/ BYU ruined 2 teams seasons

I agree with your win is a win and I'm glad you realize this was our so called "rebuilding" year,I feel we did pretty well knowing the majority of our stars return. I truly hope BYU can play like they did yesterday defensively and represent the MWC in their bowl game, Utah just needs to find a way to hit our deep outs!

another Top 25 finish

for TCU #4 AP, #4 Coaches, #4 BCS
for BYU #16 AP, #13 Coaches, #14 BCS

and maybe for

Utah unranked AP, #25 Coaches, #25 BCS
