As soon as the jazz relapse, maybe next game, maybe longer, i'm bringing in ai, he'll dominate the ball for this team, but it won't matter, because i'll trade dwill to gs for biedrins and randolph. at least one player will have heart and play like he loves the game, thats all the fans want, i'm going to give it to them, if the jazz aren't going to make the playoffs, at least they'll do it trying to, ala, ai.
Hint: You notice (like I predicted) no mention of any Jazz interest in Iverson.
WHat a joke.
Houdini, I respect you because you were open to bringing in Iverson, I know you support the guys through thick and thin, and have been very clear what many of you want---no Thugget Material or bad apples.
Thanks for seeing, this guy will be hungry basically begging and not to end up like the so called "starbury"
For many of us to be open shows the fans respect continuity but are now open to taking us to "a new level" and create an attitude
Kevin. I ask of you think about this clearly. The decision is obvious. You sign Allen and this team will be intense. He will be another coach on the floor, it will lift and help Deron and take pressure off him.
What do you really have to lose?
Remember Iverson has to be a starter...so you think Williams wants to sit on the bench and watch Iverson take over? Sounds a bit like a pipe dream to me!
He could be signed for 1-2mil and if it didn't work out just dump him, with todays salaries what kind of an investment and chance is that? Then we could make a trade or two on the wings and bigs probaly bringing together what we need for the push we want.
This is allen Iverson a humbler 2009 mode who knows he has 1-2 years left in the league, after experiences in Detroit and Memphis
Everyone, i do not mind those that reject him here you are entitled, but do not judge him on the same past issues how he has to start.
You could altenate him and dwil bringing ball up, starting together, or have him come off bench
He is a better value for the money than many of our current contracts
I think we should bring iverson as a starter with d-will.i think we will improve our record to 60 wins..i see bozzer is playing well then give hime contract extension..with all these we can give lakers a good run in west finals.....
To all the "bring AI in" comments - get real! AI may be a great athlete but the guy is a proven loser. Starting comes first, and winning next. No way would the Jazz let him hold their team hostage like that. No way would AI want to play in Utah. We're small market. Stop dreaming and cross "AI coming to Utah" off your Christmas wish list.
I want to see him go to golden state or new orleans he could do some damage there. the jazz would never sign him cause jerry is a control freak and dislikes people who shoot. I want to see him continue to play and maybe get a ring if he is lucky. But if i was him i would not want to play for the jazz cause they are not even going to make it out of the first round. and everyone he is not a pointguard he is a shootingguard, watch basektball before you say he would take d-wills spot at point.
