Yes.
The legislators would never ban cell phones in the car, they benefit too much from them. But you are not able to ban cell phones until you ban ALL distractions. IE: No children, no food, no radio, no billboards, etc.
I think people need to be smart about their driving habits absolutely, but I do not see why we need the government directing every aspect our lives.
I agree with this letter.
Seems like DUI-A and DUI-C should carry roughly the same penalty. How about a $45 fine like our click-it-or-ticket crackdown law?
Most drivers can divide their attention or multitask just fine.
Cite the ones that can't maintain their lane or minimum speed for distracted driving, and leave the rest of us alone.
