Collinsworth might be the best player, but tonight the saving player was Ryan Durrant. That boy can hit 3's all night long. Way to keep the bulldog's afloat. Nice job to the entire team. Congrats on the W.
R-Dev's the MAN!!!
Wow! I agree with that comment. Didn't he have something like 25 points? He was on fire. Looks like we have another Durrant star on the rise.
14 assists in a high school game is like 30 assists in an NBA game. Huge numbers. I bet if Provo checks it might even be a record. And 11 three pointers by two guys, and seven by Durrant, another huge game. But also hats off to Springville. Facing performances like that you still had a chance to win. I think the late start for the football players was an issue, so chemistry is going to get better. These teams might meet again come March.
but 14 assists doesn't make the state record books.
provo clearly has the best guard line in the state
that is very true they do have the best guard line...now they just need big guys
Really you guys think that Ryan durran it's one of the best guards? He is good and he had a big game last night and number 13 and Kyle too only 3 guys. Springville only practice for 2 days. Because the football players. And they still being a great team. I can't wait to see them play in 2 or 3 weeks. Delgado kid had a pretty good game nber 24 as well. I think delgado is a heck of a player can shoot. Drive to the basket. Pass. Jump. Play great defence. To bad that Kyle faul him real hard after delgado still the ball from his hands because we whould've see a great show !! Great team got both teams. Beat game of the night for sure!
Don't sleep on Keith Moore, that young man can do anything Durant can or better. Plus he can slide to the 4 in a pinch.
ha dude you should really check your spelling...how old are you 11?? 12??
We are going to give Provo a run for the money!
Ryan D. the best guard in the state?? He is not even being recuited!
Let's be honest we aren't going to give Provo a run for their money... WE ARE GOING TO DESTROY PROVO!!!! They have no game at all. I could see from the stands that Provo is already fighting amongst themselves. Springville will dominate 4A. I doubt they have a game within 20 points.
"In fact, Springville actually had a chance to take the lead in the game's final 10 seconds."
But they tried to force the ball to one of the two coach-appointed shooters and turned it over? Man, sounds like last year at State. Springville might have won if every player was allowed to be a scoring threat, but no... only a couple of annointed ones get to be the designated shooters. The rest get to be post and wing feeders. Too bad.
I have an idea. How about you make it to the State tournament on your merits (not some 4th year extra slot that is gifted to you) before you start the smack about destroying people. What's it been... 8 or 9 years since you were one of the top 4 teams in your region?
And you may feel some degree of satisfaction because you'll win a few more games this season because you're in an extremely weak region. But don't let that go to your heads. You'll still have to face the big boys if you qualify for the state tournament. Best of luck.
ha ha ha ha , where's that dad who was always talking how at some bball camp , they almost beat the bulldogs...and where's his kid now ...yeah right now?
You just posted that comment bring up the fact that we haven't dominated in recent years because you're living in the past. Well guess what that was then and this is now! Springville is da bomb! Give it a week and the chemistry will be there and they will begin their domination of 4A! There's a train comin Provo and it's called the Springville Express!
i thought he was a top guard in state... where was he against american fork?
Springvilles region is weak in basketball but strong in football, provos region is week in football (except timpview) and strong in basketball. But that close of a game against provo for springville is impressive. Spanish fork is even doin lots better this year with only two wins last year and so far undefeated this year, but its only been 3 games so we'll see what happens.
