I guess the only way to make those oil and gas companies start drilling is to burn up all the oil and gas we have in storage! That will drive the price back up and create the "free market" incentives for our beloved fossil fuel industry to get cracking (literally, fracturing of the earth is what releases the natural gas).
...Salazar's comments are just as much political poison as anything the oil and gas industry's. It's just that Salazar is poison from the other side.
Darn those Republicans who want us to be able to get to work without going broke in the process!
Salazar and all other extreme environmentalists are proven more wrong every day. Climate-gate is just the beginning of truth.
