Throw the book at him...get rid of him, don't waste tax payers money on him..He is a looser...What a creep to even be given a lawyer to talk for him. If you need a rope I have one that would fit around his neck..
The death penalty is the only thing this guy understands!!!
He's the definition of a psychopath. If they don't seek and grant the death penalty, then there is no justice.
This kind of scum needs to do prison time for the rest of his life. He is a threat to anyone in his path. No remorse, no regard for anyone. Lock him up forever.
How does this filthy, disgusting excuse for a human being think he can get away with taking innocent lives? He will pay now or when he goes to you know where. I agree with anonymous, I sure don't want to feed him for the rest of his miserable life.
concealed carry is reality regarding your ability to defend yourself or others if the need ever arose!!
Yeah... in this case a fumbling panicked student going for her gun... would be shot by her own gun instead of stabbed... great advice!!!
To c.c.v. at 4:38 p.m. - You make vast assumptions. If this victim would have had a firearm the odds state that she would have had it to defend herself and her friends. The factual incidents of people defending themselves and others with a firearm far exceed the number of people who have firearms who have them taken away and used against them. True, this happens to law enforcement occasionally, but the benefits far outweigh the harmful costs. And, by the way, practice with the firearm that you carry will help eliminate the "fumbling..panicked" description you gave. The reality is that in this case having a firearm and training to use it is choosing not to be a victim.
I'm glad that you don't carry. You are more likely to be a victim than I am. If the girl had gone into the living room to get her purse but instead brought back a gun the man would have fled or been shot. The outcome would have been different. I teach my daughters to shoot and to carry. They attend the U. I feel very sorry about the situation with these young women in this story but I firmly believe in protecting yourself. Perhaps it's a Marine Corp thing. Even Brigham Young said not to expect God to protect you if you don't take the provisions to protect yourself first.
How unfortunate. What a pretty young woman. What a huge loss to her family and her friends. How tramatic. If she could only speak for herself in court. If only they had the means to protect themselves that one night.
Agreed on the pro-conceal carry comments. Anyone who has that permit has undergone training in how to handle their emotions and their firearm in EXACTLY that situation. After all ccv 4:38, that is the ENTIRE POINT in obtaining said permit. Tragic result for all.
Well, usually if you have a license to carry, you have the know how and the experience with fire arms to handle one. Just a thought.
I agree with the last two comments. All you have to do is look at the stats. As long as the person with the ccp is trained and they practice, the odds are in their favor. More people need to be trained properly and get ccp's. Obviously, the police can only do so much.
This is so sad. Death is not good enough for his lack of compassion. Where do people like this begin this kind of thought process.
If he gets the death penalty there are attorneys who will defend him at the tax payers expense. Not only this person, but the legal system is on trial here. Let the circus begin.
His earthly existence should be ended immediately. Murders like these leave no doubt as to the uselessness of these criminals lives. Don't waste anymore money or time on him.
at some point this man was a young boy who probably never imagined he would end up at this point later in his life. All I can say is, is that we all make choices that take us down one path or another. No one really just stumbles into this kind of mess. Certainly justice will work it's course, and God will be the ultimate judge. What a horrible tragedy and experience for these women.
concealed carry victim (comment above) identified him/herself with his/her own potential epitaph. Could be prophetic. If you ever needed to possess a lethal option in defense of your own life, I hope that the person standing next to you has one.
Too bad they didn't have a gun to reach for, instead of their wallets. Could have saved alot of pain and time for everyone.
If this poor excuse for a human gets the death penalty I’m happy to push the button, pull the trigger, or flip the switch!
