Sorry but he will get run over by a blue freight train this Saturday!!!
That's why they play them!
in this state...
I am blue, but not Cougar Blue!
Err... blue train wreck.
Wynne impressed me against TCU. Hopefully he did learn from the game and come out firing. Look for Utah to finish what FSU and TCU started... PUNKING the Zoobs by halftime.
RE: Die hard ute 11:20 p.m.
"....Wynne impressed me against TCU...Look for Utah to finish what FSU and TCU started... PUNKING the yewts by halftime...."
It's GREAT having such a loyal Utah fan predicting their team will be lossing by half time!!!!
Have fun eating your pop corn at the half....cause half the Utah fans will be leaving early in the 4th quarter.....!
BYU 42
Utah 21
Wynn will be BLUE in the face trying to shout his cadence over the 65,000 screaming fans!!! He's in for a HUGE shock!!!
Make sure that Utah Valley Regional has the gurney ready and waiting, Mr. Wynn is gonna need one... What impressed you most about Wynn's performance? the pic six? Or, the times he was running for his life?
What did he learn in that game? "Run, Forrest, Run!" Oh, and try not to compare Utah to FSU or TCU, because your powerful UTES would have lost by more with that awesome run defense that they possess...
The only punking that will happen on Saturday, is when the "punks" from RES show up to get their heads handed to them before the 1st Quarter is over...BYU 38-13 before Riley comes in to finish your UTES off in the final 25:00 of the game. BYU 45-20...
@ Moose: "lossing at half time"? Is this one of those special Utah Valley words or is it just another example of how Y-ners are like you are educated? Like all Y-ners you have an over inflated opinion of your team's abilities. Arrogant and ignorant...it is why those of us who wear the red love to hate you!! You make it so easy!!
Chill out amigo. This is just a game, not a battle scene from Braveheart.
That provo education is hard at work, I see.
Anyone who thinks this'll be a blow-out, is insane. Utah was a BCS team last year, hence, the blow-out. However, the teams are evenly matched this year and it'll come down to the wire. UTAH has the weapons to finish off the game, the speed and athleticism. That'll be the difference.
There is much more pressure on BYU to win this game than Utah. BYU has a senior 3 year starter at QB in a program that depends heavily on that position. If they lose they will settle in clearly below TCU and Utah. With little chance to catch them in the next couple of years. If Utah loses and win there bowl game(which we know they will) They will have finished a rebuilding year 10-3 and found a stud QB for three more years. Along with there collection of great athletes they will be great in the future.
Wyn threw 2 td passes against TCU. One of them was to TCU! Little brother's little boy takes a pounding on the Cougar sod!
BYU has the stats advantage.
Other than New Mexico, larger margin of victory than Utes for conference games against the same teams.
Overall, BYU scores more points and gives up about the same points per game.
Max Hall is #2 in country in passing efficiency (167.2 compared to BSU QB at 168.8). For a freshman, the Utah QB is impressive, but I'll take Max (as long as he doesn't throw 5 picks. Look for him to exact his revenge against Johnson.)
But, Kyle and company seem to know how to pull out the close games (even when the other team has outperformed them in nearly every way - aka AFA). Hopefully their luck runs out this Saturday.
Maybe the Ute fan was impressed that Freshman Jordan Wynn managed to lead his team to 28 points against TCU, while their starting D played the entire way.
FYI - That 14 more points than "Heisman" Hall has put up against TCU, in 2 years.
FYI - FSU is mediocre, at best. Even while beating the worst ACC teams, and Jacksonville State, their biggest rushing performance this year was.....BYU. Pathetic.
"Wynn is hopeful the experience of playing in front of a packed house at TCU earlier this month will be beneficial."
Oh believe me, that was a very beneficial experience for you, Mr. Wynn. Now you're used to getting blown out in front of a big crowd. So when it's the same song second verse this Saturday you'll be able to take it in stride and know that you've seen the future course of yewtah football.
I'm not sure BYU fans know how to accurately predict outcomes. First, they were going to destroy FSU. Then, it was TCU who was going to get blown out. We all know how both of those games turned out. I think BYU was going to squash Utah's BCS hopes last year, and we also know how that one turned out. BYU fans sound as hopeful as Bronco does at the beginning of a season. Well, we also know how BYU's seasons have been ending the past 3 years. I'm not puting stock into any of the comments from BYU fans this week. That's why the game is played on the field, and not on the computer.
Wynn is just being polite. GOOD DEFENSE? That is a joke. Wynn is going to pick BYU a part. Look for Hall to play up to his potential in throwing to the boys in RED. Look for the Utah team to dominate Lavell Stadium AGAIN!
Utah 45
BYU 10
Two words regarding Wynn... Deep Ball. He can throw it, and your 4'11" DB can't cover it. Oh, and you can't get any quarterback pressure either. emmm, and you can't stop a decent running game. And, y'all have been blown at twice at home by more athletic teams. And there is that thing about getting down early and then watching your squad curl up in the fetal position until the game is over. The fact that Max likes to throw the ball to the guys wearing red is conforting as well. Other than that, what would cougar fan have to worry about?
I look for Hall to do what he always does in big games... 5 INT's would be a good bet.
